Study EVERY single thing on her slides. Her exams are the most detailed you'll ever take. Lectures feel insanely long because she has a low monotone voice. If you sit in the back you won't hear her. Very boring.

I am currently taking this course and I have to say that this is one of the most confusing class that I have ever taken. Her powerpoint are extremely lengthy and she expects you to know EVERYTHING (including every single detail) for her exams. The wording on some of her exam questions leaves you more confused than ever.

No complaints about the professor. Beware of taking this course with her during the summer though--was shortened to 8 weeks from the usual 10 and I think she tried to cover the same amount of material. Grades were based on many components, including 1 midterm and final. Study guides were LONG. Over half the class got a D or lower for the midterm.

Her class is easy. Class might be a little boring sometimes. You must study every single thing on her slides pass the three (not cumulative) exams. Gave extra credit by answering four module quizzes on the etext,all her lectures are online. I would take her again!

All power-points are posted online. 3 test in total and all are based on the power-points, so you don't really need to buy the book. Labs are easy, and she gives extra credit. An A is attainable if you study the power-points carefully. Overall great professor.

She never returns emails, and has a difficult time standing up for her students! There was absolutely no help from her. She understands the classical approaches to biology, but she is lost with the new evolution of biology. I rather feel bad for her, as you get the feeling she wants to help you, but for some reason feels helpless and doesn't.

Took her for BIOL100B,C. She's a helpful and very nice professor. You can honestly get an A by just studying the PowerPoints, which means you really don't have to attend lecture. The exam material is very fair. Highly recommended.
