Mr. Berry's class is tough, but you are treated like adults. This is not high school. He reminds me of my 12th grade English teacher. She was tough but people learned, he is the same way. This is not a blow off course, you will work hard, but you will learn a lot. He made class fun. Some people disliked him because he expects you to be an adult.

I don't understand the negativity expressed by some of the other students. Bill is an excellent professor. The class involved a lot of work, but that is how you become a better writer. He expects students to act like adults & complete their work on time. He was very helpful and encouraging. He could improve his handwriting though!

This was awful. I'm currently in eng 102 and i've done all the prompts plus more in 101. He was teaching 111 classes and would always admit to our 101 class that he forgot what he was teaching. Unclear with direction, he is very lazy and unwilling to help. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!! HE WILL RUIN YOUR QUARTER MAYBE EVEN YOUR LIFE.

he's very clear with is presentation and ideas. I learned a lot about writing. He had to put up with a lot of poorer students not doing well and complaining, and he was very patient in dealing with them. It was frustrating that they kept us from learning
