Professor Kizza is very passionate about literature. You do a section on poetry, fiction, and drama. You have three exams and two essays. If you do the homework assigned and work hard up front, the exams aren't hard. Just make sure you show up to class and take good notes and you will be fine! It is easy to make an A in this class if you work hard.

She is extremely hard to understand and if you don't pay close attention to her mouth at all times, you'll be lost. She assigns homework every single class period and grades them super picky. She picks out every little flaw and counts it against you, even your own opinions. She will also mark you off for not talking in every single class period.

really passionate about her subject. but hard to understand she has a very thick accent, and she is also a pretty hard grader but what she grades at what difficulty differs. if you kind of learn her grade pattern itll be an easy grade. lost and lost of busy work but super easy

Professor Kizza is a sweet and caring professor and she makes literature somewhat enjoyable. Easy A if you participate and show up for class. Homework is due every class but it's not difficult if you read the material. There are two 3-4 page essays and three exams. I would definitely recommend her.

She is a really nice lady. Her class is easy to pass if you try. The stories and lectures are so boring. She also loves to talk and wants you to talk but it was a class I did not really stress about. If you can deal with being bored out your mind take her. She also NEVER cancels class. So be prepared to be there EVERYDAY!

I took Professor Kizza's Intro to Lit class, and as a student uninterested in anything English, I absolutely adored this class. She will ask you to read outside of class (not long stories) and even if you don't pay attention the whole class you get the gist of what she's trying to teach you. I loved her and just do the reading to get an A.

Comment:

Professor Kizza is the sweetest. But she gives so much busy work. If you're looking for an easy class, this is the class to take. But b prepared to have a silly assignment almost every day. Tests are all essay. Kind of hard to finish in 45-50 minutes, but I managed. Like I said, very sweet lady, just a lot of busy work.

Professor Kizza was my absolute favorite!!! The sweetest lady I've ever met and she makes Literature SO enjoyable. I would recommend her class to ANYONE.

Mrs. Kizza is a wonderful teacher and very sweet. Her accent is very strong and it doesn't really improve throughout the semester. She is very enthusiastic about literature but, the class is very boring. S/N: you need the book to be successful in this class.

Genuinely sweet woman, and very willing to work with students. However, her accent is quite difficult to understand the majority of the time, and hasn't really gotten easier to understand throughout the semester like I had hoped. However, she does provide the essay questions for each test a week in advance and exams are open book as well.

Professor Kizza is a sweet woman. She is very nice, and she seems to really love literature. I really enjoyed her class, and I feel as though I learned some new perspectives about certain works that I had read before. I have taken two English courses from Dr. Kizza. And I'm taking another course from her this semester (Fall 10). I absolutely love her! She's one of the best professors ever. Those that speak bad about her and her class are just lazy and expect to be spoon fed. Take her class! She's the best!

A sweet woman who is very excited about what she teaches! She's always smiling. Her accent is tough initially but you'll soon learn to piece together what she's saying. She is also willing to give you an extension on essays and other projects if you are having trouble. If you can catch her teaching African lit. or slave narration sign up!
