Wonderful Teacher, this guy really has a passion for history. Make sure you bring a computer to type the notes so you don't get a hand cramp. Do the extra credit it is worth it. Study a little and you will do fine. Very highly recommended!

A very good teacher who is passionate for the subject. The only thing you really need to do to get an A is to be in the class, take all the notes, and do the book report. Test are relatively easy and so is the essay. Just read the questions on the test carefully.

The only hard work in the class will be copying down extensive notes from his lecture. If you pay attention to every word he says though, and A is not far from reach. He is a very kind and helpful professor and I highly recommend his class. He offers extra credit and appreciates students who work hard in his class.

Despite the many notes, which of course are inevitable in any history class, Mr Tibbitts is a great teacher! He explains things right, has vast knowledge of events and explains the events as if he were personally there! He fits the subject! He is a real historian! GREAT PROFESSOR! I loved his class! I will recommend him 100% with no reservations!

Mr. Tibbits is an encyclopedia. Not only is he brilliant his teaching style is as well. Don't get me wrong there are massive amounts of notes. I would highly recommend to bring a labtop or exchange emails with somone and get their notes. Although his lectures are in extreme detail he teaches in a way in which you will be able to connect the dot

Read the other comments. It will explain everything. This is probably the best teacher I have ever had, seriously. I have met only one other person so dedicated and passionate about their subject. History was a bore to me, but I loved this class and did not want to miss it. For sure get a recorder or computer, HAND CRAMPALICOUS!!!

He is a very good teacher. he repeats himself a lot. almost to the point of annoyance. he is a genius. he knows so much info its hard to grasp. he has a lot of notes. with a lot of hand aches. i recommend a recorder and a computer to type. if you miss a class you will fall behind. o and he only has 6 grades so make sure to do well on every one

I learned so much from him; his lectures are brilliant; okay, so your hand may be a little tired afterward, but his lectures force you to pay attention; hardly any rabbit trails, disciplined teaching style, he actually encouraged reading the book-just really good.
