He is the most adorable man alive. Like the sweetest old man. But he is not a good professor. He is very hard to understand and his tests were next to impossible. He rounds up his exam grades so the top 20-30% of the class gets As and Bs. I failed all 4 of his exams and my final grade was a B because of his rounding's. No papers, just exams.

Comment:
Most boring class ever. Prof is extremely confusing and hard to follow. The lecture material did not coincide with the tests whatsoever. Textbook material was typically not found anywhere in the exams. Prof stated that material comes from random places. Exams are heavily curved because people do so poorly - the questions are impossible.

He is a genuinely kind person but retirement is long over due. He is monotone and uses death by power point. Read the slide notes, read chapter word for word. Lab is much more enjoyable.

The first few weeks are lectures and you get out around an hour early. When the "lab" part starts, you simply show up and run the rats. It is a very fun and interesting class. You run the rats in VI, FR, etc so it is like you are actually doing an experiment. While the rats are running you have time to do whatever. Easiest methods class &fun!

Seriously one of the sweetest guys, ever! He is a genuinely kind person. But, honestly it is time to RETIRE!!!!!!! Super monotone, he post slides not applicable for the exam. You must read every chapter word for word. Luckily he curves amazingly so that definitely helps. He tends to also ramble on about his life rather than lecture material.

Dr. Kruger is a nice guy but his exams and class are absolutely ridiculous. Read the slides and read the chapters in the book or you wont do well on anything. I felt like there was no good way to study for the inclass midterm and inclass final. All the other exams are online so use your resources

Attendance isn't mandatory, but it will be added for extra credit when the final grade comes out. It is a boring class, but not difficult to do well in.

He is a VERY sweet man but a terrible prof. He is super monotone and doesnt explain things in more than one way if you didnt understand it the first time. His slides dont make sense and his exams are over the most obscure details from the text which you better read or you'll be lost! totally taught myself the class.

Super nice guy. Give extra credit for attendance which can boost a grade by letter grade. Is reasonable with assignment dates. Is obviously passionate about his family and chosen field. You just need to pay attention and ask questions. He does include material that isn't related to the class.

The lectures are an introduction only; you will need to do your own research and study. To get a good grade, understand the material; don't just memorize stuff and cough it back up onto the test. Kruger is a bit of a traditionalist: He won't talk that much about newer theories, but he doesn't outright reject them. He's very willing to help you.

Kruger is a Terrible professor. His slides don't make any sense and the wording is very confusing. His examples were borderline offensive to me as he discounted recent experiments due to his own personal opinions. He is incredibly boring and difficult to understand. The man can't teach and shouldn't teach.

His test are super hard. Go to class! he replaces one of your test grades with your attendance. Class is really boring and I never learned a thing. I had to read the book to figure out everything. He is a really nice guy and will help you if you ask, but he isn't great at teaching.

Dr. Kruger is a wonderful, compassionate man and is an amazing professor. I have taken two of his classes and he has always been a joy to take and to receive A's from. Don't listen to the haters. Easiest A's of your life.

This teacher is horrible. I studied so much for this class and I still was failing. I decided to drop the class so that my GPA wouldn't suffer. I didn't like the way he tested either. His answers would try to trick you, and not test your knowledge. I would not take him ever again.

He is a very nice and considerate man. Yes, his class is very boring and he says "uh" after every word, but it's not that hard. I technically failed 3 of the tests, but with the huge curves I ended up getting an A for the class. He replaces one exam with attendance so go to class. You don't need the book, just read his powerpoints over and over.

Literally the worst class I have EVER taken. He doesn't speak well, this powerpoints don't make any sense, he doesn't teach what he tests over. Even with open notes, The highest I've gotten was like a 60%. If you value your GPA, find another professor.

People say he's boring; yes, he most definitely is. People say he's nice; yes he most definitely is that as well. He is really nice, but just honestly isn't a good prof. You don't need the book, and he replaces one test with attendance if that score is better. His class isn't hard, just incredibly boring. I didn't hate him. Not the worst like rumor

Pros: attendance not mandatory, all powerpoints are available online, nice guy, gives TONS of extra credit opps to cancel out the F's you get on his tests. Cons: very boring lecturer, TA's taught material..his lectures were review because he was so far behind. he didn't get to some material..but it was still on the final,. Tests are impossible.
