Do not take her for statistics online. Never responds to emails, midterm was not posted when she said it would be, have to ask her for when things are posted instead of making it clear to us. Her midterm is ridiculous. Says to study the homework and chapter exams to do well, but her midterm is nothing like the work assigned. Horrible professor.

Comment:

Tests are easy with a practice test very similar to the actual one. Homework is not checked and attendance is not mandatory, however neither is hers... hit or miss on if she's there or responds to emails, or sends emails as she says. Very short classes covers the topic, send you home to do what you don't know, and will cover questions next class.

Too lenient, never returns emails. Not clear at all of what is expected except for class attendance. Syllabus didn't contain the right pages and problem numbers for assignments. If you don't want to be challenged then this is the class for you. Other than that she is super nice : )

Best math teacher I ever ever had. She is Very clear on what she expects. She teaches as if u kno nothing (which I didn't) math is hard I always struggled. Please take her she the best. At West Campus, or wherever, this is the professor to take for 1033. She's super nice and just really easy to work with. It's hard to believe that prepping for college algebra could be this smooth, but she does it, and very well. Some advice though, do all your lab stuff and maintain time because that's out of her hands.

She is really laid back. HW: not too much given; isnt part of grade; which you get for every section she go over mostly for practice; goes over it in class. She is a slacker so you will be behind most of the time. Lab: get minutes and do Warm-Up tests. Write notes or you'll be lost & make sure you ask for help if needed shes real good at explaining

Took stats online, literally the worst class I've ever taken. Gives literally no explanation of anything from the book just assigns ridiculous and tedious amounts of work. Never take this class unless you already know everything about statistics, since you won't get any help anyway.

I like Ms. Humphrey in how she graded the class because she counts every work you have done. I DON'T LIKE SENDING E-MAIL TO HER BECAUSE SHE WILL NOT ANSWER RIGHT AWAY. YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR COUPLE DAYS BEFORE SHE ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS. GRRRR ANSWER ME!!!!

True, she was absent online & do not buy the book. I had to call helpdesk & vcc to track her down, but she is very helpful when u do get a hold of her. Lots of h.w & please do ur work ahead of time, do the examples & the extra credits. She uses all on the quizzes & tests. Make sure u communicate with ur online classmates, helps a lot.

I had a high D/ low C in the class by Finals and got a D average on the finals and felt terrible bc i studied my butt off (i suck at math, always did.) but when i checked my final grades --i had a C. I can't believe it. I'm so happy.

ONLINE - This class is extremely hard :( You need to buy a $75 key just to even start, which held me back. I don't know if its because I haven't taken math in years, but this course is ridiculously difficult. There's massive amounts of homework.

I'm taking her online class right now and it's one of quick classes. I love this class but for every chapter is (( 30 )) questions. Except while completing each question, you can look at the examples at the same time and it makes the work super easy. Don't buy the book (its $170), bc she gives you everything you need online.

This was an online class, so I never met her in person. However, I must add that she was extremely helpful over the phone the few times i did contact her and she was prompt returning phone calls. The course is a tough course to complete online though...If you are looking for someone to baby you along the course, online is not the way to go.

My all time favorite teacher. She explained everything thoroughly. Her tests were easy and right before them she would give you a study guide almost exactly like it that you could guess the answers. HIghly upset that she is leaving. If your moving to central florida CC definately look her up.

Best teacher ever! I wish all my teachers explained the material clearly like she does. She knows the subject well and will make sure you understand before going on. I wish I could take all my classes with her! :)
