Comment:

If you do the worksheets well you will be well prepared for the tests and if you are well prepared for the tests you will get a good grade in the midterm. The midterm is pretty easy and the group project is graded fairly. Just the final and I still don't know my final exam result (just my final grade) but I think she curved a lot so take her.

I loved this course. Her lectures are sometimes dry and boring. It's not an easy class get ready to work with math. Every week there is a homework &quiz. Quizzes are usually 15 min which is not enough if you dont practice your speed at solving. The lecture notebook is not enough to pass the midterm and final so read the book. Midterm&final are hard

If youre gonna do the online classes just know for her online lectures she speaks very closely to the mic and has an annoying voice. Dry and monotone

The online quizzes and assignment were straight forward since she provides step by step solution videos. Her midterm was easy kinda similar to the quizzes. Lots of room for error which is good. The final was cumulative therefore the class didn't do that well however, she curves heavily so no worries. There is no group projects for the online sec.

She's ok, her video lectures are dry and boring. HWs and reflections are pretty easy. Her lecture slides don't provide enough material and are pretty vague so they don't really prepare you for her exams. Her exams are pretty touch, too many questions and not enough time. Final is brutal, lots to peope fail but she does curve quite a bit.

I highly recommend this professor to anyone since there is not too many options for this specific class. She is caring and understanding. The( online) quizzes are exactly like the HW (graded on attempt not accuracy) & quizzes exactly like HW. First Exam ( online) exactly like the quizzes. Final is cumulative. She is very patient and curves a lot.

Only 2 exams: midterm & final, a few quizzes, and a group project with 2 different presentations on a country of choice. Choose your group members carefully. Additionally, you have to purchase the professor's lecture notebook from the student store for about $12 as the powerpoints are not provided on Titianium. Book wasn't used in class.

There was NO group project, just small writing reflections, quizzes ( exactly like the Hw). HW is graded based on the effort. The midterm was easy however final was something different. She is quick to reply to your emails.

Weekly home work assignments and quizes based on the lecture and text book. Two exams ( midterm, final) The first midterm was easy but the final was really hard, she curves a lot which is good. Replies to emails quickly. Overall recommended.

Extremely difficult class. The final exam was impossible ( no matter how hard you study). There are too many weekly assignments/quizzes, however those assignments don't prepare you well for the final. Just a difficult class. it is frustrating to fail this class because you put so much effort during the whole semester and seeing your final grad

This was the most difficult class I ever had. If you're looking for an A, go somewhere else. She curves a lot but crazy hard. Lots of mistakes in her notes which make the class even more confusing.

FIN 370 is not the most exciting subject, but Prof. Chang explains it in a very straightforward way. Book isn't required, but you can get her lecture notes for cheap. Altogether I think there were 5 quizzes, 2 term tests, and a group project on currency forecasting. Class is standard difficulty, show up, take notes, and you will pass.

Class is easy. You'll pass but I don't guarantee you'll get a good grade. The group project..should be smooth if you're lucky to be in a good group. I wasn't fortunate but still passed. Text book is recommended but not required. I played it safe and bought the book and it did help understand the subject better. quiz and tests are decent. Good luk

Chang's lectures are very boring. She basically reads off of her powerpoints which consists of the same material as the packet she has you purchase. She tends to go a bit too fast at times since she is reading off of the notes. Focus on the presentation and be prepared for questions since she likes to put people on the spot.

Somewhat interesting material. Boring / dry lectures. Very knowledgeable in area of Asia / Pacific Rims studies, however has difficulty making material interesting and relating to students knowledge and experience level. Not great, not bad.

She is really nice & helpful Agrees! Stop scaring people!Allows you to add to your project & make it fun Tests are hard but if you do the hw & understand her packet you will be good Dont buy the book and just use her BB for hw & solutions I will be taking her again for 373 She curves so much. Boring but easy :)

Do NOT take her, she is a HORRIBLE teacher!!! She put the book on reserve in the library and read her slides during class. All you need to do is memorize the slides for the midterms, but they make no sense half the time. The group project is like, 40% of your grade and she'll ask you the most random questions ever during the presentation. EVIL!
