Comment:

Took her honors speech course. Do the reading, ask questions, and you'll get a lot out of it. If you put in the effort you can learn a lot, but the material is a bit advanced so you have to work at it. She's really passionate about it though and enjoys having discussions about it, and looks after her students.

Comment:

I took her online, which I recommend. She is okay. Only had to take two tests and present two speeches that was it!! She does rely heavily on the book so READ! She does provide a small review for tests and does grade easy on speeches. Overall pretty easy.

I dropped her class. I felt like I was in Kindergarten again. I agree with those who say she is condescending and close-minded. I do not recommend taking this class if you really want to learn something about speaking. If you want an easy A and/or you have a difficult time with your everyday relationships/communication, go for it.

I liked her. She does care about her students and knows the material well. She relies heavily o the book, which is a good resource for those persons interested in further reading in the field. I worked very hard for my A, but I also learned to love the subject. Overall, I would rate it as a good class.

Comment:

Honors Speech. What a joke! She loves Buber, so quote him often. Very condescending and closed minded if you try to offer a different opinion. She knows the book, but you can fake it. I read about 10% of the "required reading" and got an A. "Now students..." please! Is she playing school?

Comment:

Overall, Ms. Knobloch was a good instructor. Very helpful, loves to clarify things, and is very friendly. However, depending on how you present any conflicting ideas, or if you disagree and do it in anything other than a conciliatory tone, it will cause her to be short. As long as you communicate in a diplomatic way, she's great.

Condescending. Petty. Distractible. Treats students like grade school children. No drinks allowed. No bathroom breaks allowed. Easy material, but she takes FOUR points off your final grade for each absence after the first four. There are no extra credit opportunities. Takes attendance at beginning of class so tardies are counted as absences!

I have never come across a more unhelpful professor in my academic career. She is unwilling to help students and is rude and condescending. Her courses may be easy, but as a person and as a professor she leaves much to be desired. The fact that ACC keeps professors of this kind on staff is very unnerving. The students deserve better.

Very easy. She has take home tests consisting of definitions, you write them out and construct sentences out of them. There are 2 presentations and interview and a group presentation about some movies. Over all i got a B because i did the wrong chapter on a test and ended up with a b- on it. But i recommend her if you want to boost up that GPA

She is so easy. Yes you may not learn you might not like her, but this WILL BOOST your GPA! It's take home tests vocab words and you construct sentences with them too easy! then it's an interview project, and a group discussion. But you must be very dumb not to pass her class

Interpersonal communications is an extremely easy course - EASY "A!" However, Dr.Knobloch's teaching method is one I haven't seen in 20+ years. Want to feel like you are in kindergarten again? Take her class.

Took her online and got an easy A. She makes a lot of errors and is grouchy when you ask her questions to clarify what she means. She's pretty rude, but hey, if you take her online, you only have to go to class twice and take two tests. Don't really love her, but easy A.

She is an awful professor. Tried to email her with questions but she didn't answer. Is more concerned with proper outlines and vocabulary than an actual speech. Had to follow every instruction word for word. Normally Speech is a "blow off" class; this was not. Do not take.

Very easy professor, took Interpersonal Communications with her. Very easy to pass, with all take home tests. Teacher tends to treat the class more like a grade school class than college level, speaks down to people very often.

very good teacher. loved class discussions which were fun. lots of group work. gave you 2 speeches and 3 at home test. sooo easy.
