Prof. M is amazing. I learned so much in her class. She offers plenty of extra credit. She really cares about the material she's teaching and she cares about her students. This class should be required for any parent or anyone who wants to be a parent in the future. The projects were fun. Best of all, Prof. M has a very happy disposition. Great!!

Comment:

Professor C is a very very tough grader, I took the class looking at the amazing reviews. She makes you work your ass off! She deducts 0.5 points for every tiny mistakes and which brings you to a very bad grade eventually. She is the rigid/work by book rules kind of teacher. She is pretty rude too at times too. Miss a class you wont pass!! :(

For a 6-week course this was a great experience. Super clear in lectures, very organized, and is very helpful with the research project youll be doing. Just take good notes and read in order to get that A! She also provides mints + bars in class everyday. Highly recommend.

She is AMAZING!! I would 100% recommend this class. I took her scholars class and it was not too challenging. As long as you come to class and do the assignments and take notes you will be fine. She allows two single-sides pages of notes for quizzes and three for the final. She is extremely organized and brings snacks to class.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND her class! She is funny, gives great feedback, respectful, and very organized! She has granola bars and mints for us every day. You will be fine if you take good notes, do the assignments, and study for extra credit. She allows students having two single-sided notes for quizzes, three for final.

Professor Matheson is a wonderful teacher. She is extremely organized, supplies snacks,replies back to all emails, quickly, and gives detailed feedback on your work. Her lectures include lots of information, so its crucial you come to every class. She offers many extra credit, which will improve your grade greatly if you do it. Would recommend!

The best professor I have ever had! Designs class in a way that you actually learn and understand. She brings granola bars and peppermints every day and is super responsive and accommodating. 4 quizzes and final which you can use notes on. Research project where you have to work directly with children. Assignments have clear instructions.

Cathy Matheson's prompts are SO specific, it makes writing the essays a lot easier. But her essays are NOT easy, far from it, we wrote 5-6 essays this semester along with the readings, in-class assignments, homework, and tests we needed to study for. Her class is NO JOKE you need to work for your grade, but the end goal is totally worth it.

I am taking this class during the fast 6 week session. Professor Matheson is so sweet and helpful. She really tries her best to make sure her students understand the material. The class consists of 4 quizzes, 1 final and a couple of papers. There is a fair amount of work required to do well but I am pretty sure I will receive an A in the course :)

She is a great professor, respectful and always be there for students. I love her teaching technique and sense of humor. She offers lot of extra credit. You will get a good grade if you work hard, not skip the class and turn in all your homework. I'm so thankful that I was in her class. I've learned so much about myself and others!

Currently taking her class for summer. She is an amazing professor, she uses every minute of class and is clear. He posts the powerpoints online to study off and gives extra credit. Just study and use the 2 pages of notes she lets you use for tests and you will be fine. I would take her class again if i could.

In short, pretty simple class, 4 quizzes, a few papers. Take notes on her power points, quizzes are based mostly off those. I suggest you type them as you can use them on the quizzes and she uses every minute of class time. If you want that "A" show up like a student should and take those notes! Good luck!

She is very laid back and easy going. She works hard. She was teaching 11 classes at the same time and still managed to help anyone who needed it. Very down to earth. She likes to laugh with the class. She uses learnsmart homework for each chapter in book, easy 10 points each. Her tests are all multiple choice. One APA paper, and one group project

Matheson is amazing. Took this class over winter and passed with an A. She is very nice and super clear with her lectures. TAKING NOTES IS ESSENTIAL! Let's you use 2 pages of notes and the exams are multiple choice. Not a lot of hw just big assignments. If you do everything she asks you'll get an A. This class is super informative.

Comment:

Very clear and very helpful. Allows two pages of notes on her quizzes. Most of her assignments are pretty easy and the quizzes are not too difficult. Ended up giving a decent amount of extra credit towards the end of the class. Definitely gives you every opportunity to get an A in her class and is very straightforward with her expectations.

She is helpful and provides feedback. Her class is not too vigorous. She presents the content in a clear manner. She is easy to follow. It is a good idea to learn acronyms. She gives extra points on participation, quizzes and various activities. Do all the work even if it is not mandatory.

Amazing Professor ! Very nice and very helpful ! Lectures are funny and she makes it very clear and detail and gives you enough example to understand. She even brought donuts at our final !! You can always ask questions and she will always be there ! Definitely recommend her if you want to take psy 11. You will not regret it !
