Comment:
although Inya seems like a very smart man, nobody in the class can understand him because of his very thick accent. every 10 minutes it seems like the whole class will start looking around asking ''what did he just say?''. not only is it hard to focus because of this but his notes are completely all over the place, it makes it impossible to follow

Loved Professor Inya. Just need to pay attention during his lectures and read the associated material in the textbook. I like the way he explained things, seems like a really smart guy.

I thought overall he was pretty good. Nothing stuck out but he got the job done. Tests were reasonable. Although accent was hard to understand, it was good enough to get the information (at least I thought so). Not a fan of the attendance policy but I do like his sense of humor.

I love Inya. He is extremely educated, and has a passion for teaching. If you struggle focusing in class, his accent can become tough. 4 exams, 1 was take-home. Economics is tough, so don't expect to cruise through the material. During office hours he is great. He makes the effort to get to know you personally, as well as help academically.

Professor Inya was great! He was hard to understand sometimes but he made a dry subject interesting. I took macro and micro with him. five tests and only four count. Homework adds to your grade. Easy 'a' if you try.

Not the best experience ever. I know he has an heavy accent, but it makes it very hard to learn and pay attention. Grade is solely based on 4 tests and possibly homework. I wish he would have been more clearer on instruction, clarity of the content and notes, and more help offered when needed.

I feel kinda bad for this man. He is very smart and definitely knows what he's talking about but you can barely understand him. His accent is so thick and his notes are all over the place so he just isn't good for teaching at a college level. Try to avoid taking a class with him. Extremely hard to pay attention and hard tests too.

Horrible teacher. Only have 4 test for grades and tests have nothing to do with lectures. I have to retake this class and obviously with a different professor. I don't understand a word he says.

He was by far the hardest to understand and follow what he is saying. He doesn't teach well, his tests don't follow what he has lectured, his lectures don't make sense, and it takes him 20 minutes every day to take attendance. There is literally no point in this class.

Wish I'd read this before I took this class. His accent is very difficult to understand sometimes. I paid $162 for the book that was required and we don't even use it. He even disagrees with the text in some cases. Worst class I've ever taken. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM!

This prof. will be good for those who read the textbook obsessively. His lectures are very difficult to understand through his accent, he doesn't like calling on students in class if you have answered once already. The way he gives notes is more confusing than a green and blue zebra. Don't take his class if you learn by lecture.

I've given up even paying attention in class, I just read the textbook and online sources. Homework assignments are extra credit, tests aren't very hard, but he is completely incomprehensible, vague examples, poorly organized notes, never understands your questions. He is the worst professor I've ever had, do not take his course.

Had him for ECO 101 and currently in his ECO 111 class. The only grades are 4 exams in 101 and 5 exams in 111. 2 exams were take-home in each class. Gives 6-8 homework assignments which are extra credit only. If you read the book, you will get a good grade. I didn't do any of the extra credit and got an A in 101 and currently have an A in 111.

He's tough, but he's fair. Study, do your assignments, show up for class and participate, and you'll do well. Okay, his accent is a bit hard to get through, but that just means you have to take your ear-buds out of BOTH ears.

I had a good experience with this professor, he can be tough to understand sometimes, but if you pay attention to the notes he presents and read the chapter you'll be fine. I thought the professor was helpful when I had questions, he always stayed after class to answer any questions. Overall I was happy, but be prepared to work some one your own.

Very good professor, second semester in a row, does in depth on subjects, and, regardless of what other classmates say, is actually very organized with notes. Accent is difficult for the first week or so, but you get used to it. Although he does follow with the book, there are parts where he goes far more in depth than the book. No homework!
