He is the worst, thinks he's smarter then the textbook he required us to buy. He's cocky and as long as you flirt with him I suppose you'll be okay, but if not GOOD LUCK. His test are horrible and is nothing from his 100 question review. Is as if his pride is in failing his students.

Prof. Garza is by far one of the most enthusiastic professors I have ever taken a course from. His class is hard and you do need to study, but he does provide all information needed and is very clear as to what you need to know. He also offers a good amount of extra credit including a field trip into the Texas Hill Country which was fun.

Dr. Garza is nice guy. He's pretty easygoing and generally has a great rapport with his students. Meteorology is in no way a blow-off course. Be prepared to work.

yes Dr. Garza is very hard but it seems to me that he was cool in geol class. he even gave extra credit. I made a B. But for some reason in metor. class he was extreamly hard. no extra credit, no reviews, and lots and lots of work.. you have to really go to class daily do your labs and study! I would not take him for metor but I will for geol.

He is a very good teacher. It is alot of information, but if yout ake notes and study his notes and read the book, you will do fine. I took the class because someone recommended him. I think he is an excellent teacher. If you did not get a C or better in his class is because you did not study period.

Its a wonder this guy still teaches here! He is by far the worst prof i've had. He's just a hott steamy mess!!! His class is extremely boring & he expects everyone to be excited about rocks!! HELLO!! yeah right! If you're concerned about your GPA stay away frm this class!!!

he does not curve even when eveybody in the class fail he exam. He will tell you that what you see is what you get. i had a friend that took him twice and failed twice. avoid him at all costs!!!!

His lectures are bad. Does not teach well. Expects you to know stuff he didnt teach & are not in textbook. I asked him a question & he told me to look for the answer online. Not recommneded at all. He loves failing people.

Dr. garza is very passionate about sciences. He wants you to really learn the material that is covered... So no, it is not easy, but if you follow along with the readings and attend class you can do well. He is also always in his office! If you have questions go see him outside of class.

I dont recommend this guy. He doesnt care for his sutdents because when you ask him a question he wont help at all. He tells you to go and study and then ask. He expects for you to learn all the material in one day. He teaches at a fast pace by the time you are barely understanding one thing, he's already on to another chapter.

he teaches good but the stuff is not easy. he wants you to memorize everything. no scantran exam. no homework. but the exams are hard. if you do not study hard enoguh you could even fail. it was harder than my math class.

Very fast-paced. not very professional, makes degrading comments towards lesbians (dikes in geological terms) likes to flirt with the girls. creepy guy. take someone else if you don't pick up things quickly. must identify rocks and minerals out of a box of 50.

He was so hard. THere is no review, no curves on the tests. THe first two tests in this class the average was 58 & 60. The highest grade on the second test was a 80. There are three honor students in this class. He does not hand out review sheets or spend time in class reviewing.

I had this professor for Intro to Meterology. He does not hand out study guides and he does not review for tests. He does not curve tests. There were 3 honor students in the class that I took including me. The highest grade on one of his tests for the entire class was a 80. Class average was 58 & 60 for the two test we have had so far.

Garza is cool and everything but he thinks hes some kind of scientist. A comment was actually made to him and he just said "well thats what I am". He expects you to learn at a faster pace than the human mind can control. I really dont recommend anyone to take any classes with him.If you do, dont say that you werent warned.
