I loved having Professor Reynolds for chem lab. I hated going to this class, but this woman is the sweetest. She will literally stand at the front of the class and tell you what she's going to put on the exam. You can't miss this class however, it'll mess up your whole grade.

THIS LADY CAN TALK, but she is sweet. She talks for most of the beginning of class. You have a quiz once a week. During lab, TAs are really helpful and she mainly sits at the desk. She doesn't try to fail you, and the tests (only 2) are reasonable.

This lab was easier than my highschool lab. The questions are really straightforward, and if you dont understand the TA's or Reynolds herself tell you have to do it. The TA's will even check your answers before you turn it in if you ask. She talks for 15 min at the beginning of class- pay attention! She's giving you answers to the exams. Nice lady.

Comment:

This is what you would expect from a chemistry lab course. Dr. Reynolds makes things very clear and wants you to absorb the information and actually learn so be prepared to remember math. Labs are pretty fun and easy as long as you follow the steps. I would take her again in a heartbeat!

Experiments are hard but if you show up and just try you will make a B or above. She has literally no idea what she is doing. Said in class one day "I do not know what I am doing". She is clueless in her own class and does not explain anything well at all, expects us to just know how to do everything by ourselves. Easy grader but not the best .

She seemed alright at the beginning of the semester but got worse as the semester went on. She wouldn't be in the room when lab was supposed to start and would talk for almost half an hour before letting you start the lab. Exams test way to heavily on insignificant stuff from the background info and barely touch on what you did in the lab.

She is a very caring professor, but can often be annoying at times. she spends a lot of the time during the beginning of lab talking about her other classes that don't relate to you at all, and waists your time by doing this. however she does tell you questions that will be on the exam and gives you an exam study guide which helps.

LOVED HER. She helped me understand chemistry some much better. She is very funny and is always willing to help her students. You pick a partner in the beginning of the semester and basically work with them all semester. You have 2 test with are fairly easy and you have to take a quiz each week which is really easy. Show up and you'll pass.

She makes her midterm and final (which is where most of your grade comes from) way too specific and hard. This class ruined my 4.0 and i would not take her again. Besides those two tests she is a good lab professor and the lab isn't bad.

She is an excellent lab professor that is very open to helping her students. The exams are difficult but she is open to helping anyone who asks. This course requires more of the background reading than Chem 1110L.

I loved Professor Reynolds and am taking her again for Chem 2 lab. She lectures before starting lab but listen to it- she gives out answers for the lab report and midterm/final!! May be a little more nitpicky than other professors but I like to think of it as she's getting me more prepared for a future in Chem. Exams aren't too horrible- just study

Literally one of the best teachers! She is so funny and if you can just follow directions you'll get an A. You do have to go to lab or you will fail the course. Recommend for everyone to take her. Very helpful and just a great teacher overall. Only 2 test and those are pretty straightforward.

I think she is one of the best professors I've ever had. She gives you a 7 out of 10 on each lab just for showing up and putting your name on your paper. She understands that some students have test anxiety, and she does the best she can to prepare you for the midterm and final. I plan on taking any course she offers. I recommend her to anyone!

Go to class-she takes points off your grade very absence after the first. She gives you answers to the exams (midterm & final) every week in class, so all you have to do is study. She is very helpful, just ask. She lets you out of class after you have finished the lab and the longest my partner and I ever tok was 1 1/2 hours.

An easy class as long as you show up and do your labs. Her midterm is really easy but the final was kinda tough so you have to study harder for that. She's very helpful if approached, but her TA's do most of the work for her.

Took for chem 1010 lab and had an A all the way up to the final. The class is very easy, you just have to show up and do the quizzes online each week. The midterm was easy but the final was very hard. I still recommend to take this teacher though! She is super nice/ sweet.

C.K. is awesome! I took her for Gen Chem 1 lab and she was very clear and she's a pretty easy grader. I wish she taught lecture at UTC because she's one of the few assets the chemistry department has. I would recommend to take her if you can for lab. She's a great teacher and a great person!

This lady has got it DOWN PAT!!!! She has two cell phones, one for her students, and one for her. Ms. Reynolds is the sweetest teacher you will take as long as you do not act like a complete fool. Her first exam was easy if you took all of 20-30 minutes to study. Great personality and will work with you to answer any of your questions.

Comment:

Professor Reynolds is one of my favorite professors that I've had so far. Her lab isn't difficult as long as you do the online quizzes, show up to class, and put in some effort for the midterm and final. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Highly recommend!!
