After reading the comments on here I think I might just try him next semester. The professors that I had are no good at all. I get no help on my essays or nothing like that. All my papers that I get back my grade was either a 60 or lower. I don't how or why. How can you fail a paper about talking about the death of a family member!!!

He VERY EASY. But if you're wanting to know your grades immediately..don't expect them for another 2-3 weeks. We only wrote 2 papers which were 1-2 pages, and then a research paper which is 5-6 pages. SUPER EASY CLASS. Made me paranoid because I wanted to know if I made an A and he was like "check with me next time". But whatever, he's cool.

Easy class. All we read was fiction this semester. We turned in two essays and a critical analysis paper on a book. The final was 100 multiple choice questions about material he said would be on the final. In class, he would go over the stories and terms that would aid us in writing our papers. Difficult to get a hold of even through e-mail.

I hate english class, but this professor is really good he can teach a whole lot if information in such little time. If all you care is to pass and your writing is not that strong take him. I got an A in his class and my English is terrible but i put a lot of effort in the class. take him you wont regret it.

I like this professor. we wrote only 2 essays an one research paper. final exam is 100 multiple choice. he really checks ur paper and tell you to turn in afterwards. he miss class only 2 times. he tells you the first day that what materials will be covered in final exam i got an A. so i will suggest take him for and english class

DR. Auchter was very helpful, at first i had a hard time locating him, they moved his office. I took him this semester distance learning, made an A, yes I earned it! You do need thr textbook, and I went to the writing center 4 or 5 times , usually as reassurance on my papers. I wrote 5 PAPERS, not much one was the final, he is helpful, if you ask.

Took Comp 1 in the summer. I hate writing and hadn't taken an English class in years. He was very clear about what was expected of your work. Content was not as important as good grammar. Made an A with no problem.

Took online Comp I class. This teacher is an easy grade BUT never responds to emails, calls, you never know your grade till the end, etc. You are left not knowing if you're submitting essays right. If you want a responsive teacher who responds to you quickly and posts grades soon, do not take him. If you just want easy grade, take this teacher.
