BUS1000 is very basic, so it is merely impossible to fail this course. His voice is mono-tone, which many students find very boring. He is a very global man actually, traveled different parts of the world, which is also essential in learning the business world. However if you do not find the business world interesting, do not take this course.

Yes I agree his lectures can be boring, but class was not hard. Tests are from the lectures and book. Tests are (3-4) chapters at the time and the lowest score is dropped. To get a B read the book, to get an A, study the lectures as well. The recitation classes, which are not needed and kill student’s time, are also counted on the final grade.

So he is a bit boring, but it's not that bad. All you really have to do is study well for the 4 quizzes and pay SOME attention to his lectures. His quizzes are curved BIG time in the end anyway. If you put in the effort, you'll do fine. Keep in mind that recitation also counts, so just do good in that.

Those who said this course is hard are failures. His lectures were fine. If u get a poor grade, it only means that u should not major in business. From what I saw, many students left in the midst of class. I believe anyone interested in business would never do that. U guys have no passion in business at all. No wonder Baruch is so bad.
