I loved going to Prof. Ding's lectures. He teaches in a way that's easy to understand, i wish his lectures were longer cause that's how amazing he is! He gives a lot of extra credit to help boost your test grades. He gives out handouts on the chapters and do the problems on the handout so textbook is useless. Just come to class and take good notes.

The textbook isn't necessary, but is helpful. It's a test based class. The lectures go over the problems and worksheets worked on that ultimately get used for the exams. He gives extra credit every so often but lecture is your life line, if you understand everything there and can explain it well it's an easy A.

Eventhough i had an A in this class, it was challenging requires you to study alot but worth it in the end because you learn so much. Not a class to slack around and he gives ample extra credit for a perfect 100 score before final. Actually, dont expect easy A. His lecture was really interesting, but he gave really hard exams. But, he will give a lot of extra credits to boost your poor grades, and it will help you to pass the class. Final was much easier than his exams. He is very helpful, but you will need a lot of efforts and must take good notes. Personally, I like him.

This class required some time and effort. Not a class for u to slack. He really helps u prepare for final and it was easier than his test. If u can't pass his tests than u should drop. I record his lecture so that what really help me pass. Always come in prepare if u have questions & just really listen & take good notes He doesn't go by the txtbook

Professor Deng is an alright professor. He sometimes goes over the material too quickly but that's pretty much it. The class, which consisted of 2 midterms (25% each) was pretty difficult. The final was easier but it's worth 50% of your entire grade! I got an A- but had to study a lot for the final.

Highly informative class that will fill you with knowledge of business law. He has his own private practice and KNOWS what hes talking about. Gives real life examples and expects you to ask question, especially hypothetical ones relating to problems. Tests are exactly what you learn in class. Gives up to 40% extra credit on each test.

I don't have a clue about what the students below me are referring to, but this professor gave everyone a greater chance than they deserve at getting an A. Maybe he changed when I had him, but he gave us ample extra credit chances, and better chances to get a perfect score on the exams. If I had to, I would take his exact course again. TAKE HIM

Had to drop the class cause he just isn't a good professor. We missed more than 5 classes cause of his other job and went over a chapter in like 20 minutes! If want to pass the class, DO NOT take him!!

To sum it up in one word, he is ridiculous! Unlike most professors who try to make the material easier to understand, this guy does the exact opposite. His test questions do not relate to the textbook questions at all, which is what he teaches from. No partial credit and no curves. Avoid at all costs.

The only reason you would fail is if you didn't pay any attention in class or study bc there's a ton to memorize. Prof Ding really wants his students to learn & is always available for extra help/encourages you to ask questions. You MUST study hard for the tests in order to pass but he'll give extra credit, he's understanding & a genuinely nice guy
