Comment:
Took this class for credit and to fill in time between other classes. COMPLETE waste of time. Without a doubt she is the worst teacher i have ever had. Her lectures are very long and she tends to float around a lot and not really teach anything. She gives "study questions" that don't relate at all to the tests. Also a horribly critical grader.

Sweitzer is a difficult teacher. She was critical of student work and some assignments were very confusing when explained. Some was explained improperly and wasn't able to be completed.

Took world arch history. It's a hard class, but she's nice about it. The tests will destroy you unless you study and TAKE GOOD NOTES TAKE GOOD NOTES. You can squeak by with minimal effort if you think that's wise, she 's giving us tons of extra credit but unless you're a masochist you will not enjoy yourself here, it's a very very tough subject

Super boring, all about what to do to become an architect, and the very fundamentals of identifying different aspects of buildings. Teacher tends to be snooty but for the most part you don't have to deal with her directly. I thought the class was a waste of time and lots of bs homework!

Very easy class. Not much homework. Just take notes. If I had applied myself I would have gotten an A.

This was the first semester of ARCH 12, so I can understand they still need to work out the kinks. Deborah spent a lot of time on unimportant aspects such as shapes, stuff you learn in kindergarten. The 1st half of the semester was city planning, the 2nd half was arch. I can honestly say I didn't learn much, and I felt like it was a waste of time.

She's a good teacher, but she is very demanding in the amount of homework required. I learned an incredible amount of information and came close to finishing three entire books during one class. Homework questions in every class take between 6 and 15 hours, depending. Lectures, group work, group discussions, reading, and constant homework.

I've had Deborah for a number of classes. She gives way too much homework but I've learned so much from her. She's not a bad teacher, just has a different style. Even if you're not great at whatever, she knows when you're trying.
