This course requires dedication and self motivation, so it is not going to be breeze. She does grade tough on grammar, however that is normal for an upper level course. With that said, I learned from her corrections and I became a better writer. I also learned more about the characteristics of leadership. It's mid-semester now and I have an A.

I'm taking her this SUMMER & is a though grader. She takes off for any & all grammatical errors. All I'm hoping for right now is to pass with a B. We have 2 essays exams(midfin), 3 research-questions (10% each-grades hard)and 6 ( 5% each)discussion question. She opens assignments@8am & wants them in the following day @noon. TOUGH WCRAZY WK HRS.

There is not much work, but she is tough grading the writing assignments. I am a senior and this is the toughest grader on writing. She does not seem concerned with the content of the paper only the grammar. So if your writing is perfect, then take her. No make-ups or extra credit, easy quizzes and write without errors for midterm and finals

The coursework is easy. She assigns 1 assignment per week (Disc post, quiz, or research response). None of which are difficult. The midterm and final seem easy but she does not provide a rubric for her grading and she grades extremely hard. And does not tell you why you received the grade that she gave. If you want a C or lucky B then take her!

She is very detail oriented. If you think you can slack off on grammar you are sadly mistaken. I wrote an "A" paper based on context, but was given a "B" for only 4 grammatical errors. Also, if you think you can argue with her and truy to justify a better grade... NO YOU CAN'T! Easy to follow instructions, but you better have a proof-reader.

This teacher does not teach at all. Never cracked open the book & actually never took it to class. There was like 2 lectures the entire semester the rest you had to read on your own!! Essays are the worst! SHe doesn't care about the content just grammar errors and makes up run on sentences half the time. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!

The worst Teacher EVER!!! i literally didnt learn anyything from her. I went everyday and she literally never went over a single page of the text and when the test comes up you end up having to read everything from the text, even the side notes. So if possible avoid this teacher! iRegret taking this class with her!!!

I learned a lot in the Communications Theory Course. She was extremely clear and outlined excatly what she expected in the class. The class makes you think about situations and apply them to what you are learning in the text. You must write by using correcr grammar. She is extremely helpful and will assist you with any questions ons. Great class.

I took Wanguri for an online class. Her paper grading is very frustrating. Doesn't matter if you write like a pro or have help proofreading. You'll not only get marked off for every single true grammatical error, but also for word choices she doesn't like. I also got points off for correct grammar that was somehow counted as wrong. Not recommended.

She is RIDICULOUS! I have a 4.0 GPA and I damn near failed my paper because of grammar! This is a Leadership course on a Master's English writing class. She is more concerned about the grammar and run on sentences than the concept. CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS CLASS TO BE OVER!

If you can't write or didn't make straight A's in English, don't take this teacher. You will fail with grammar alone!! Do every tiny thing she says or she will take points off your grade.Straight stickler. I found it extremely annoying because I was a straight A English student and she still found something to say about everything i wrote!

I took this course for 1302 at University of Houston Main Campus, but the previous poster is right she is a total "GERMAN GRAMMAR NAZI" and will take points away from you. I would think that in a "theory course" it would focus more on definitions. She is the best at UHD, but too much busy work needs "STRAIGHT FORWARD" 4-5 for pass or fail.
