She will fail you by a few points, her exam weight is high and her test are far more difficult than she puts on. She will add allot of additional questions that she did not go over. Some students say her test come from a test bank. I don't know, I personally studied her lectures before exams and didn't do well. Final was 70 questions of horrible

Comment:

Great professor! She is very chill and straightforward, also helpful if you ask questions. She also has a good sense of humor. 3 tests and a final, along with reading quizzes and homework for every chapter (just keep up with the work each week and you'll learn AND do well!). She also gives extra credit. Definitely recommended :)

Her tests are pretty hard. And she grades tough! She'll catch the slightest mistakes, and expects you to know DETAILS. As a person, however, she is a really good professor. (There aren't any good biology professors at GPC anyway, so she's probably your best shot) I would still take her again rather than any other professor. Recommended, just study.

Comment:

Lab was more tolerable than class. Know the classes and subclasses of animals really well. Also know the body parts and their functions of the insects studied. She is not too strict on lab notebook just be sure all topics are there with drawings and conclusions. Second half of lab is better more human anatomy and phys.

Professor Lacole is really nice. She gave alot of extra credit and tried her best to explain the material. Tests were really hard though, especially because it was during the summer. Overall, good teacher.

Lectures are interesting & personable enough, but on an individual basis she's guarded and unfriendly. I think the course could have used more graded material, a lot of weight on tests, which could be a good thing but just didn't work out for me in this compacted summer term. She's what you probably expect in a professor, not much more, but not bad

Nice teacher but pulls all questions from test banks, requires masteringbiology online, and iclickers ($50 + $50) not including the test book. Tests were unreasonably hard, class avg was usually a 58. Helpful...but good luck with this one.

She is a nice professor but kind of backwards with the way she handles her class. Her homework doesn't help & she lectures nonstop in class. The whole class did horrible on tests. She gave extra credit for two but the third test she wouldn't even though it was the worst one. Class average was a 56. I'd say take the class online and be done with it.

Professor Lacole is a nice person but her teaching methods aren't the best. Her tests are over information she barely goes over in class. If you want to pass the class then you are going to have to teach yourself. You might as well take an online class. Once again nice person but horrible class.
