Comment:

I know theatre, but Prof. Davis REALLY knows her theatre. Her bi-weekly assignments (quizzes) are papers on plays and there are discussions and projects that lock at the end of the week. Read the book more than the lectures - the tests are more detailed than the lectures and they aren't easy. She does provide study guides though! Good luck!

This professor is really great. Would of got an A if I had did the Outside Play Analysis but I just did not have enough time. Overall, this course is the easiest you can pass on. If you don't pass you're just lazy. This professor responds to email really quick and also answer her phone call but she will get mad if you don't email her first.

Professor Davis is an awesome teacher. I am so glad I took her class. I highly recommend taking her class. She answers emails quickly and she is very helpful. She grades quickly as well. I especially recommend taking her class if you have a disability, as she is very accommodating and does everything she can to help you be successful in the class.

Easy class. Could definitely be done in 1/2 a semester. 2 recorded speeches (1 live) & 1 written speech. Lots of chapters to read but they aren't hard. Do the study guide for the midterm and you will be fine. Final is easy. She is a stickler for formatting on outlines etc. Nice professor and very fair grader.

Professor Davis-Hollier is an amazing professor! She always answered emails quickly. My grades were posted immediately once the week ended. I took her full term online course. I'd advise anyone taking theatre to not do a half semester, because of the reading material. You can make an easy A. I also learned a lot about theatre. Lisa Wise

By far one of my favorite professors. She lays out exactly what she expects. If you deliver on your end, you can get an A in the class. 2 Major speeches, one is done via webcam and the other is filmed and posted to youtube. She give great feedback. She can take a little long to grade but other than that I have no other complaints.

Excellent Professor! Very nice and very clear on expectations. I was not looking forward to this class because I'm pursuing my nursing degree and I wanted to focus more on that. Professor Davis gave ample time to complete assignments and was very fair in grading. If you have to take this class, she is the professor you want.

Ms. Davis cares about her students success. Quickly responded to our concerns and questions. Provides helpful feedback on assignments and speeches. I was nervous about taking a public speaking class. Now I'm glad I did. I Feel confident about speaking in public. Good class!

She seems like a really nice lady, but..... She took forever to respond to email or discussion questions. In her syllabus she states "I will have grades back 11 days after due," this was a half semester class and Im still missing grades from the beginning that she says she's "still working on." Could have had a higher grade if she ever responded.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Easiest class I have taken. Easy A and I really did find it interesting. She offers extra credit too which will bring up your grade a lot. Great teacher.

she was agood teacher. took thi class online. not a hard class at all. got a B took it the prior semester with anoth teacher and recieved a low D.very clear on expectations. hihly recomended
