She is very unorganized. She hands back papers way late so I did not feel like there was much chance to correct your errors. There was multiple occasions she would tell me to change something on my paper and when I did she would count off for it. I would not recommend her.

She is very disorganized. Students are confused by the unclear way she is giving assignment and you will definitely have to ask her to explain to you again. DO NOT have her as your professor! You will regret!

This teacher is very confusing. You'll have to really pay attention to what she says or else you'll get lost. She'll drift off topic if you bring up a question and she'll talk about it all class. She is very unorganized and most of her work is online. You habve to print your'e work so hopefully you have internet at home.

If you are looking for an easy A, I would recommend this class. The only thing that I didn't like about this professor is that she is super unorganized. And she has a tendency to repeat herself SEVERAL things throughout a lecture.

Took her for Academic Strategies and all it was irrelevant lectures. Easy A, trust me. If you looking for a teacher who is unorganized and goes with flow, and who only talks all hour and give completion handouts. She doesnt keep up with grades. One essay, mid term and final.

I have taken many very hard classes and made A's.. I work extremely hard to keep my GPA. Diane is by far the worst teacher i've ever had. please read this and don't take her. She makes NO sense and shouldn't be teaching anywhere. I am an A student and am barely hanging onto a C in her class, along with 75% of my classmates. Most want to DROP! RUN!

Very clear on what she wants from you. You need to show up because chances are she has at least two handouts for you. Your sick? Tell her, she WILL understand. Expects you to pay attention to her talking.

I took Mrs. Polcha for both Strategies and writing II and both were super easy. Her lectures are super long and boring but her test are easy and not much homework. No final in strategies just a portfolio, and the final in writing II is take home so easy classes to pass.

She's very nice and funny, sometimes goes off subject by the time you know it class is over. Easy class easy A just keep all your paper in a portfolio for mid-term n finals you should be good to go. Only midterm test no finals, the final is ur portfolio to turn in. Pick her she is the easiest prof for academic class.

If you want to pay more than $100 for a textbook you only use 5 pages of, this is the class for you. If you want to listen to someone extremely skilled at saying nothing and talking for hours at the same time, this is the class for you. But hey. It's required.

She was very repetitive and she didnt really teach anything related to the class and she was very rude and smart allic. She talked to us like we were children. I didnt learn really anything in that class that pertained to my life and how it would help me. She was a horrible teacher do not recomend her for the course

The class its self is pointless but if you have to take it then Mrs. Polcha is a good option. A lot of busy work but its super easy. Not a lot of reading. She is late to class A LOT and sometimes doesn't make sense on her directions but she's super nice and overall is a good and easy teacher

Learned a lot out of this self-paced course! Mrs. Polcha makes this course simple. She always responds back by e-mail if you have any questions or need to extend due dates. Doesn't wait around on posting grades for this course. Comp Lab is pretty easy if you pay attention to what you're learning. Again, easy course, and Mrs. Polcha stays in touch.

I suggest that you do not take this class!! I can write fairly well, I BS all my papers and still passed with a middle to high B. DONT BUY THE BOOK!! Shes late to class all the time!! be cautious when taking this class!! She gets off topic during the class!... Shes a nice lady, but not a GREAT teacher..

OK for Writing II. Very nice, but only helps you so much. Never uses the book. Uses her own words. Taking forever to post grades. You can still pass the class, but you will be expected to do a lot of the assignments on your own. Does give grading rubrics on all the essay papers she hands back, and tells you what is wrong. Is nice to students.

I would recommend Polcha for strategies. I was dreading taking the class, but it wasn't half as bad as I expected it to be. If you get her, keep all of the handouts she gives you and check your blackboard account often for updates and announcements.

You can miss a few classes and be fine but must attend to get worksheets. Keep all worksheets as that is final grade. Only had a midterm and no final. lets you look at study guide half way through test. Easy class Said needed book, but only used once or twice
