By far the most pathetic teacher I've ever had. He clearly got the job because of his real life experience in the industry as a musician but all he does is forcefeed his pessimistic outlook on the music industry based on his experience. You won't learn anything you'll just sit through a bunch of classes and hear him ramble about his hate for rap.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! AVOID AT ALL COST! WORST MISTAKE EVER! Such a waste of time and money. I don't even know what we're doing in this class and I have perfect attendance. He talks down on everyone and brags about everything that he's done. He doesn't answer questions clearly, he never replies to his emails, and he doesn't keep to a lesson plan.

I overheard him say to another musician, about his MDC students: "I can teach more about music business to 10 heads of lettuce(vegetable)in one day, than i can teach my music business students in one semester"! Calle is a great professor. He knows his stuff, feeds it to you so you can understand it. Yea, he does repeat things.. but you never forget it! He jumps from book to experience to reference to internet.. but he gives you alot of info! Always has opportunities for students to be interactive.. keeps us entertained :)

This class was a waste of time. As for pro-tools, unless he's your lab teacher as well you won't learn it with him. You work in Reason the whole semester long and he doesn't even explain how to use the program. If you don't know how to use it already you'll learn it on your own, no help from him. As for technical stuff, you'll never open the book.
