Landis is one of the best professors! He does not assign homework unless we miss class, which does happen and its simple stuff out of the textbook. You will need the textbook. He will lecture, give you a study guide, and his tests are easy. Just show up to class and you will be fine!

This guy straight up looks like Joey Gladstone from Full House. Now that you know this you'll never look at him the same again. He loves to tell stories, and he's easy to get along with. Laid back. Just come to class and you should be fine, you won't be in there the whole class period anyways.

Come to class to make him happy. You'll have 3 tests. Come to the Reviews or you'll fail the tests. Great person with life stories/experience. Textbook needed for the reviews n random class assignments but it can be an older edition. No homework. It's an easy class but you won't learn unless you read the book yourself. I didn't read and got an A

. Before I met him I was having a really hard time just passing college classes. After I started working with him my grades are great in my other classes as well and it looks like I'm going to have a great job coming out of college. There's no doubt in my mind that I owe this to him. Not only did he help me in his class but ally other classes too!

This class was SO easy but I hated going to it! Landis is a great guy and an easy teacher. He purposely changed our tests after the class did badly on the first one. He lectures straight from the book and LOVES to talk about where he used to live in GA & his businesses-which could be why I hated going to his class-but easy A and pretty nice guy.

This guy is a riot. He tells a lot of stories and goes off a bit, but it isnt a bad class. He teaches you what you need to know about speech without being dull. If you actually listen and jot down a couple of notes on the specifics of the speech he wants you to give, then you wont have anything to worry about.

After taking numerous speech classes in high school, competing in hundreds of speech competitions and having numerous speech coaches, the principles of speech taught in this class are completely wrong. And, the terminology of extemp. and prepared speeches are used wrong in the class as well. If you want to know what not to do while giving a speech, watch the instructor (Don't run your hands through your hair, slurp or lean on the podium)

Mr. Landis is an idiot.....all he does is talk and never listens to a word anyone says. It's pretty obvious he is in love with himself...as he loves to blow his own horn. Did anyone get ANYTHING out of this class????
