Comment:

Prof Sal is a great professor who is very passionate about the subject he teaches. The work load is definitely way more than any of the other GB110 classes with various group projects and papers. 3.7 and higher is attainable, however, you will have to grind pretty hard. If you are very interested in law, Prof Sal is the perfect professor.

Comment:

Salimbene is a very nice man and very intelligent in his field. I learned a lot from him but compared to all other GB110 classes his is by far the hardest and you have the most work in it. 2 mock trials with 5 group projects and papers. 2 exams during the year and then a final paper, presentation, and exam at the end. Gr8 guy, hard/heavy grader.

The worst law professor. AVOID TAKING HIM IF YOU WANT TO PASS!!!!!!!!

Sal cares a lot about his students. He is really knowledgeable and passionate about law. Definitely a lot of reading, but worth it if you're interested in law.

Prof. Salimbene is very passionate about law but you shouldn't take him for GB110 unless you are interested in law. There are 4 group projects with the same group members that are graded really tough. The tests are not that bad if you study but this Professor makes you work for the A (there are easier professors that teach this course).

DO NOT TAKE! Unless you want to be a lawyer this man takes the course to an extreme. 2 group presentations, 2 moot courts and a whole lot of work outside the class. The other GB110 courses are a joke compared to this class. You are better of looking elsewhere for a reasonable professor.

Comment:

Professor Salimbene is an amazing professor. The lectures are quite detailed and if you asks questions, he'll happily answer them in a way that is easy to understand. There is a lot of reading you need to do outside of class, but he does a good job explaining stuff from the text. All in all, I would definitely recommend him for GB110!

This class was a lot of work, but I found it really interesting. Sometimes, Sal assigns more work than necessary, and I found myself always having the most work to do in his class. He's a tough grader, but his grading system is really hard to follow. Don't take if you're not willing to put in the work.

This man is an expert in the field and he is really entertaining and fun to have in class. He requires participation tho, it's very discussion oriented. He makes you put your phone on airplane mode but the convo is entertaining enough if everyone talks to get through it. You also have to pay attention in class to do well. You learn alot tho

Professor Salimbene is a very caring, kind teacher who is passionate about law. He'll teach you far more than any GB110 professor and is available during office hours to explain anything you don't understand in the class However, this course is the hardest GB110,filled with 5 group projects,lots of reading and case briefs. I fully regret taking it.

Absurdly hard. Project every other week. Notes on power point are not do not cover everything you need to know for test. We have probably done more work than any other GB110 class combined. Very nice guy, very hard teacher.

Although Salimbene is a great professor, if you are not interested in this class DO NOT take him. He gives way more assignments than other professors and does not scale like others. He is a great teacher but the work constantly overloads me and has me struggling to complete all of it. If you are interested in this course definitely take him.

Professor Salimbene is a very nice guy and very accessible when you need help. His lectures are very clear and teach you the material well. He gives out a lot of homework for every class and there are group projects like every week. You will do way more work than any other GB110 class but you will also learn the most. Tests are doable

He is an awesome professor who definitely knows what he's talking about but you need to be prepared for a lot of work. I never liked law before but am considering a minor in it. Classes are mostly lectures. Some group projects and presentations (only grades writing piece so don't be scared). 2 Midterms and a Final. Way too much work

Awesome man, cutest and sweetest guy, but super strict and gives a ton more work than other classes. Take this class if you want to learn a lot and are thinking about doing something with law. You really just have to put in effort and do what youre expected and youll be okay

One of my biggest regrets is not switching professors for 110. I got stuck with Salimbene and it was terrible, my group was useless and he took the class way too seriously beyond the point of it being enjoyable.

By far the hardest 110 professor. Assigns a group project in the first week, and you're stuck with them for the rest of the semester. Goes over all the readings in class, so skimming is usually fine. Only 110 professor to do moot court, which he grades pretty harshly. Final exam is cumulative, but easier than other tests. never picks up homework

Prof. Salimbene knows what he's talking about and is a good professor. That being said, a lot of work is required to do well. Attendance is mandatory but if you go to every class, he'll give you a 3 point bump on the final exam. Tough class, but not impossible to succeed.

Great professor and individual. Be prepared to put in a decent amount of effort if you'd like to receive a 3.7/4.0. The class itself is definitely tougher than the majority of 110 classes, but you'll have trouble finding a better teacher for the subject.

Comment:

Really knows what he is talking about, but gives lots and lots of hw. Attendance is mandatory and so is participation in class. Has 2 extra credit opportunities, which is attending his office hours once and then there is a lecture. Tests are hard if you don't study. Also has presentations, which can be annoying. Wouldn't take again!!
