This class it tough. You must attend class to know what he focuses on in the chapter or you'll waste a lot of study time.Do lots of practice problems and JE; for an upper-level ACCT class there's a lot of JE work.He's old school & if you're easily offended don't take the class;he's hysterical in a salty way.

This is a very hard class. The teacher does not explain things very well and spends more time telling stories and jokes than teaching. I basically taught myself everything out of the book. Tests are very hard if you are not prepared.

An easy, but not helpful, class. You don't have to go to his lectures, just read the book and you'll do much better than those who come to class. The guy is completely hilarious, but not very clear in his teaching material. Made an easy A, but will try to avoid him next time

Dr. Schugart is an interesting professor. He always speaks jokes so that the students are not nervous about the course. All students can get A or B in ACCT 7377. The textbook is an introductory book of oil and gas accounting. There are many specialty terms for new students.

He was confusing all the time. He favored all the girls, if youre a girl and you sit in the front he will flirt with you the entire class. I had to study my butt off and ended up making an A, so in the end It wasnt his teaching but my idea of reading the book instead of listening to the lectures.

He sucks...if you take him..go online and study the notes that "Newmen" puts up on the web...if you have to take him...read the notes by newmen nad don't even go to class. the class is easy, provided that you reveiew newmen's notes...Schugart doesn't know what he is talking about and makes it tooo hard...he should stop teaching and join the circus

hard class, started off ok because of the 20 pt curves in the exams. high drop rate. hes funny (sometimes) but also rude. not good intro class. exams difficult and tricky. i think ull do better by guessing in them than actually working them out. 2 exams and final. 5 quizzes only keeps 3 highest. 2 projects.

the guy tries to relate so many things that have nothing to do with accounting and expects you to understand him. he was showing us this one problem where he was suppose to write 12345 n he wrote 1.2.3.2.1..i was like WTF..trust me i just took him this smester hes not EASY.. he wrote the book. SO WHAT..he still cant teach just coz he can write

Awesome Prof. Great sense of humor. He knows his stuff and likes to tell stories of his experience. He doesn't get boring, but you need to listen. His notes are kinda sketchy so you have to pay attention to how he's getting his numbers. But he's very open to questions.

He is pretty funny, he'll make the class interesting. You'll find yourself going to the class not to learn accounting but to hear what else he has to say about his ex-wives. He curses in just about every other sentence but over all he is pretty good.

Took him for Oil and Gas Accounting. If you go to class and attempt the problems in the back of the book, you should get an easy B. He even gave us a 20pt. curve once and he has a great sense of humor.

Took him for Financial Accounting Principles -- he guarantees you will make at least a C as long as you make some sort of attempt and take all of them exams. I got a C+. I am not interested at all in accounting, but he made it bearable.
