Definitely the best History prof that I have ever had. Very interesting in lectures. Truly cares about the things he teaches and it shows every day. Always provides thoughtful insight regarding how we should view History from a biblical perspective.

Comment:

Fantastic prof. Best I've ever had at CU or anywhere else. Hands down the best professor in the History department (and that's saying something). Encourages thoughtful discussion, critical thinking and higher learning. Doesn't shy away from a Biblical worldview. Take any and all classes with him that you can.

Dr. Mach is a fantastic history prof. He made the lectures really interesting and funny. There are quizzes often, but if you read you won't have a problem. Plus, he usually gives a bonus question. The exams are straightforward and the review sessions offered help a lot. Overall, he is a great prog and I would take from him again given the chance.

Absolutely amazing professor, class will challenge but grow you. Always enjoyable when teaching, and his classes will give you the details you're interested in when learning. You do not learn names of presidents, or overarching policies they do, but rather how they enacted them and the details of these policies.

If it's possible for a historian to have a sense of humor...he takes advantage of it. This man is aware that not everyone loves history so he teaches the class in a pseudo-mockery fashion, which generally creates interest. Possibly the best prof I have.
