the exams are difficult, especially the final exam. the homework are relatively easy compared to the exam. if you want to prepare for the exam, study your class notes. he uses most of the exam question from class. the professor is helpful. the only problem is the difficulty of his exams. prepare to study really hard. seriously.

Took this class for my math minor. Dr. Warren is extremely knowledgeable in what he teaches, he is easily the best math professor I have had in my life. His lectures can be insane to follow sometimes, but he explains concepts in general form. His tests are more like the hw problems. VERY FAIR. NO CURVE. He means the best for his students.

I took both MTH 3120 and MTH 4120, which cover the same material. HIGHLY recommend taking the latter, there are much better professors that teach 4120. He assigned his own textbook, which was hard to follow. If you insist on taking the class, I recommend "A First Course in Probability" by Ross as an additional reference.

Graded on 3 test(22% ea) and a final(33%). NOT AN EASY CLASS. Highly suggested you do the textbook problems for each section until you understand the material even if its MORE than the assigned amount. Focus test studying on APPLICATION problems over conceptual. Great professor but requires you to work for it and is very fair about it if you do so.

This man knows his math. Given that, he expects you to know yours. He will teach you things you do not have to know. It is up to you to filter that out. He works VERY fast. Bring an online copy of the textbook to follow along. He does not say this in the beginning but he curves if you participate a lot during the semester and do well on the final.

Professor Gordon is amazing. People give bad ratings because they do not try. If you try your best, you will do well. Do the practice problems in the book and pay attention in class. Very nice guy and will def. retake

Makes you understand everything inside and out. Topics include Calc 1&2. Makes a lot of mistakes in class lectures, extremely unprepared. Reads straight off his book. However he is a very smart professor

I loved math, but because of Professor Warren I hate it. A very difficult class for me. He cannot teach math, however, he is extremely smart. Relied heavily on the textbook to understand the course material. Lenient when it comes to extending homeworks.

Professor Gordon is the best. He challenges you to work your hardest. Def. not an easy A but if you work very hard, you will get a good grade. He also proves formulas, theorems and other things to make sure you understand how people derived these things. He also throws in a joke here and there.

This class was more than challenging. He is not an Easy A professor but he is without a doubt one of the best professors, if not the best, when its comes to math. He knows his stuff to the nth degree. He is actually quite lenient and more than fair. His tests cover the material learned so you either know it or you don't.

If you take professor Gordon, prepare to self teach and self learn. The textbook will be your life, so learn from that and other sources. Next, make sure you know EVERYTHING in your notes, the problems you did in class inside and out. I have seen questions from class on tests. He is a good professor & very helpful, but simply can't teach too well.

Professor Gordon is extremely challenging, but in a positive way. His exams assess whether or not you KNOW the material inside out. In my experience, if you struggle with the material, your grade will reflect it and vice-versa. However, if you need assistance, he's always there to help show you how to solve the problem. Awesome and motivational.

Worst teacher I have ever had. I have always been at the top of the class when it comes to math, and I loved math. I was planning on majoring in math and he is the reason I am not. If you love math, do not take his class, because he will ruin math for you. He is mean and does not know how to teach. Do not take him no matter what.

One of the most difficult professors I've encountered. He clearly knows his stuff, which is why he's apparently the head of the dept. Don't expect an A if you take him, and you'll end up self teaching yourself the whole semester.

One tough cookie. Scored way above the class averages to score an A-, after 10+ people dropped. The material itself isn't hard but good luck performing a couple of hundred calculations every exam and getting everything correct.
