Comment:
"All Republican policies are racist" Be prepared for indoctinating statements like this and many others. While his subject matter and research are interesting, he clearly has an agenda. He is a very nice man and knows his subject but his class is uncomfortable if you don't subscribe to his politics

The people that say that Dr. G is boring clearly lack an open mind. He was literally part of the movements we learn in class and he is extremely knowledgeable in them, obviously. Most students were on their phone during his lectures and did not appreciate him!! I would definitely take one of his courses again. Easy A and you actually learn.

Professor San Miguel is a nice guy and he is very knowledgeable but his lectures are boring!!! Unless he tells some personal stories about his experiences he has no personality and he is very monotone. Otherwise, he is very easy, 3 tests that are take home and a group project, he does count off if you skip class. Lots of reading.

Professor San Miguel is a real nice guy and his 3 short take home quizzes, PowerPoint project and oral history essay are pretty easy. I would advise to be super clear on the questions for the short quizzes as he notices errors quickly. Take advantage of the extra credit work. Over all, I enjoyed the class and he plays some awesome music as well!

Dr. G is one of the best professors I've had. He has many personal life experiences that he tells you about that are related to some of the topics in class. He assigns a group project and an individual project. 3 quizzes/exams that are take home short answer essay questions. If you do your work you'll be good. Would definitely take him again.

There is a clear outline in the beginning of the semester of what he expects from you. As a history class, all the materials are online, so I find that the books required are not necessary. The group project is easy, and he is a good audience (seemed encouraging while I presented). The major project is interesting, but also easy.

This class can be challenging but Dr. G is passionate and he makes learning history fun/ relatable. There is a lot of reading and writing, but it is always manageable because he is very clear about expectations and provides helpful feedback. Very understanding and personable, also allows opportunities for extra credit!

Dr. G is a great professor. Not many assignments, but the ones you have count a lot. He is very chill/forgiving though, I missed a day when he assigned a quiz and when I came to the next class and ask for an extension he gave me one no problem. He is really respectful of students and provides very interesting lectures. LOVE HIM

Definitely the most boring, one-sided history class I ever took. He gets away with historical revisionism ("would/could/should")in class because no one is willing to call him out on his nonsense. Takes hypocritical positions on many of the issues brought up during lecture.

I loved this teacher! Please enter his classroom with an open mind. He may be perceived as bias, but what teacher is not when it comes to history. All his exams were take home essays. There is no memorization for his exams! All one has to do is take real
