Comment:
I really like prof Ramos. He was a good lecturer and grades pretty easily if you show effort in the class. Come to class, participate, and you'll be fine. I read the books very minimally and as long as you can write and pick a good topic, it's an easy course.

Professor Ramos is such a nice man. I enjoyed being in his class because he made his lectures very interesting. There are no tests, only quizzes that are online and they are all related to the chapters that you have you read. Around 5 essays, but he's not a tough grader. He offers extra credit and on the last day of class he hands out cookies!

Rockin' Professor. He does go on tangents and stutters alot, but he tries to make the class feel comfortable and talks about "in" things with us. 4 papers, and one semester paper that included the previous 4. There are no tests, he based grading on papers, attendance, and participation. I will take him again!

This professor is actually great. He provides a different lens with which to view American History. He doesn't place an emphasis on the 'anglo-american perspective. This does seem to peeve a lot of students who seek the greatness of 'dead white guys.'

He incorp. all ethnic groups and gives equal attention to everyone. You can present your opinions, he's fair but expects very good writing assignments though not excessive length 3-4 pages (3 x's a semester). However, we had a takehome final (3 essays) in 2 weeks to complete and that threw me over the edge-got an A but be careful with grammar!
