I had Dr. Said for 3 Java courses, and he is top-notch. He can be a bit hard to follow because the material is complicated. He types a mile a minute while doing example programs, but he is very fair to his students and always helpful. He is challenging, but you will learn immensely from him. He grades easily so long as you turn something in.

Overall pretty average. He is very helpful. can be hard.He sometimes questions you alot about the methods that students use so be careful! sometimes gives 0's if your program doesnt work. His grading scale is easy though ex. 70% is a B. He is very knowledgeable about his displine. Excellent advisor I had for my college education.

This professor is an obviously intelligent man who is passionate about what he teaches. The only problem with him is his unclarity and his teaching style. Not many people can learn from a word-overloaded power point, and occasionally a sample program typed at rapid incomprehensible speeds. Could be much better. I switched to a new professor.

Not bad! Not bad! He seems tough, comes off unclear, and talks too fast. He is a little critical on grading assigments; some of the comments throw people off. but he understand that programming is a challenge for most students/finds ways to help.He gives opportunities to redo assignments and extra credit. And lets you use the book on exams.

Very good professor, always have to participate in class but is good learning experience. The work load in this course is to extreme (presentations or large papers do every week, book reports, assigments, midterms) this course feels like a graduate level class

Prof. Said comes off very strong. You will learn a lot in his classes and if you do not put effort or bother doing your work (like most OCAS students) you will be called out for it. He is the professor you should take if you get the chance as you will learn a lot, and you will know whether you were even cut out for the IT program in the first place
