Comment:

This man does everything he can to make your life awful during your time in his class. If I had a choice, (Which I don't) I would not waste my money on another course with him. I had to fight every way I could with him in order to not be docked points even if my work was correct. Horrible experience, and most everyone else'd say the same about him.

I have never had a class with McMahon that has been worth a penny. He makes you read worthless articles then makes you write about them for next to nothing. Not worthy of being a professor of any field. Thanks for the waist of time.

does not explain assignments very well. Has a weird rubric scale for example if you score 70 one on assignment he will give 2/3 at times. Can be helpful but rude to students at times. He is very prompt on emails.

Although class was online, it was almost all busy work (quizzes, etc.), with barely any hands-on assignments. He could also be rude to students when he was asked questions.

I Had him for both a Introduction to Database class and Computational Concepts. At no time during either of the classes did I feel that I was learning anything. He is a likable enough guy and is easy to get along with, but not terribly good as a professor (in these classes at least).

One word: worthless I've had him for several classes and he has never actually taught anything. He should get out of teaching and go into some other field where he could do well. Probably not IT (it doesn't seem as though he knows much about it).

Great prof. Really good teaching ability. As a warning: if you slacked in your previous programming classes or BSed your way through, it will not be so easy with McMahon. Otherwise really fun to interact with.

I think he is very good. People that don't know how to program should stay away. I think people want him to hold there hand and show them how to write code but he will not do that because he knows no one is going to hold your hand in the real world.
