Overall, it was a very easy class. If a student had a wrong answer, felt he wouldn't clarify and just pass over what a student said instead of helping. Sometimes confusing. He is not the best teacher if you want to learn, but an easy grade if you can do simple homework tasks. No studying needed.

At first, I was a skeptic - the man speaks broken English. But he's a good guy & knows what he's talking about. EASY A! There's a short reading every night, but we read it in class the next day - NO ONE reads it at home & he's okay with it. 5 short quiz's, 4 500word essay's, 1 5page research paper. Only allows 5 missed classes before a grade drop.

You have gotta be joking me...Jai should have a 5 outta 5. He explains everything like you're in high school. His quizzes are by far the easiest, it's just common knowledge and he clears everything up further. 1 Final paper nd 4 -5 side papers-they are CAKE!!! TAKE HIM FOR EVERY ENGLISH CLASS POSSIBLE!!

ai is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. The other English teacher that was just as good I had in high school and Jai actually helped hire him to work at HVCC. Jai goes over the material and tries to make sure that everyone understands. His class is a fun and friendly environment. The whole class would leave laughing.

Great if you want an easy class. The only major assignments are a few short essays throughout the semester. Homework consists of reading short stories which he talks about the next class. He tells funny stories about his days in the West Indies. He is approachable and helpful. Overall, he's a good teacher and this is an easy class.
