I had him for lab. He is really nice and lenient in his grading. My group started with 25/80 on our robot project and he eventually added points so we got 65/80. He's very helpful and answered whatever questions I had.

I had this teacher for engineering lab. He's easy and helpful. He answers every question I ask, and he has a good sense of humor. He might look like he's clueless, but he knows his stuff. Good teacher to take.

Don't let his poker face throw you off. He's an expert teacher. I always learn alot from this guy. He's accurate, incisive and challanging. Be prepared to work and learn. You will receive an accurate body of knowledge.

This guy sux at teaching.He is an easy prof if u want a str8 A. Just do ur hw and the labs are pretty much easy and u get an A. Take him if u dont want to learn much and get an easy A. Just try to be on his good side from the beginning and things wud be easy.Very easy prof!

Super easy class, but John Yu makes it an even EASIER one. When I took it, the midterms were CLOSELY based on the labs, and the best part is, the midterms were open labs! Hard to understand in lecture, I was falling asleep... BUT if you go to lab and pay attention there, you'll pass for sure.

Oi! At least he has the patience to lecture to a bunch of people who are obviously not interested or listening. Prof. Yu drives me nuts, though, with the way he talks. Does he have to REPEAT himself 20 times, or end EVERY sentence with "EH?" Uggh, at least the work is easy.
