Prof. Nix is a fabulous director; his arm motions are the clearest of any conductor I've seen. I was interested in the marching band ever since I first saw them perform in 1994, and this class has totally been up to my expectations. Nix is very good at relating to his students.

Nix is the greatest director on Earth. I don't say this lightly, as I've had quite a few amazing directors. He's also a phenomenal arranger. Hope to God he remains Director of the MMB for a long, long time. Revelli reincarnated.
