Crystal-clear lecturer, and overall a very funny guy. I enjoyed attending his class immensely. His multiple choice tests are very tricky, but he seems to grade generously for essays, so the two factors really balance each other out.

Fantastic lecturer even though class was large in Political Economy of Development (90+). Be prepared for some liberal politics, alth he in no way expects his students to espouse his beliefs. Hilarious and intelligent; I learned a lot from his class.

Extremely clear lecturer who can summarize an entire reading in one sentence and convey all the important parts. Compares theorists in class so, if one takes good notes, papers are relatively easy to write. A tough paper grader but gives thorough feedback.

In some ways he can be difficult. But he is also a very engaging lecturer and a caring and easy-to-talk to man outside of the classroom. Finally, he gives EXCELLENT feedback on papers.
