I can't believe that she is still a teacher. I am in her programming games class and I haven't learned a damn thing. Day one she threw a bunch of programming jargan at us without explaining what any of it means. She expects you to learn it yourself. I emailed for help and she told me to figure it out. DONT TAKE HER CLASS U WONT LEARN ANYTHING.

You have to put in effort to get something out of this class. I think people may not like her because she won't baby you, but she's not the toughest grader either. Students who don't like her are usually ones who don't participate, pay attention, or come to class. You only get out what you put in, and if you do it's not too hard to pass.

Absolutely incoherent lecturer. Spend most of the class teaching myself what she had just droned on about for 40 minutes. Tests, and her grading of the tests, are completely ridiculous. Don't take this class. You will have an easier time learning Processing/Java on your own.

Her shaky voice and confusing powerpoint presentations made her lectures useless and uninteresting. Asking her a question will either result in her telling you she doesn't know or a rude "google it". For tests she expects you to remember long lines of code and write them on PAPER rather then with a keyboard. Awful professor. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!!!

Avoid this woman's classes at all costs. You are expected to come in with extreme prior knowledge, and when you ask questions she answers "learn to google things." For tests you must memorize straight code. She is very hard to understand with her accent. She is also very condescending and makes you feel terrible when you ask questions.

I don't know about new media classes, but I currently have Prof. Meyer for communicating quantitative info. although she can sometimes be hard to understand, she will clarify and elaborate if you ask her to. I admit she is a bit eccentric, but I like her a lot. Math is not my strongest subject but she communicates the material in an easy way .

The worst teaching experience I've ever had. I suggest never taking a class with her. She talks with a funny accent and on top of it all she treats the class as if it is a life or death matter. You have to be there for everything down to the very last day.

This class had it's annoying moments. It was pretty easy though. Just so long as you followed her notes for doing the games it was easy. Before coming in I recommend taking an HTML class or basic mac for knowledge of Flash. They will help here.

I loved this class. I got way more out of js than flash. Two years later and I still use the js i learned here, for games and for other applications. Sure, you're on your own a bit, and if programming isn't in you you're in trouble. But do all the work and it is quite possible to get an A+

He class was easy, all people have to do is read her tutorials and they should get a gist of what she's teaching though she does talk a lot. But she is very easy and helpful. All you have to do is read her tutorials and you should be fine.(and she gives great midterm and final guides)
