Comment:

The class isn't hard. I was able to make an easy A with minimal effort since he goes very slow and the actual exams are just like the practice exams he provides you with. In my opinion, he seemed like a very intimating person who doesn't really care about the students. I felt like he was always thinking in his head he stand above everyone else.

Comment:

If Chemistry doesn't come easy, I recommend taking Narramore. He's a very slow teacher, and explains stuff. His test study guide are practically like the test. Go to SI sessions, and don't be afraid to go his office hours, he will see that you're trying to make an effort in his class, and appreciates you going to him. I definitely recommend him!

The lab is pretty easy, he doesn't grade the pre-lab and there are no quizzes. He does grade you on technique so you have to know what you're doing. His final isn't too bad either, he basically tells you whats on there. He tends to go on for while at the beginning so he might talk for 30-45 minutes just about the lab before you can even start.

Comment:

Mr. Narramore is a great teacher. Unlike most, he takes the time to thoroughly explainteach the material. I'd strongly recommend that you take advantage of SI tutoring. That helped me tremendously. Even when I didn't study, I got an A on the exam.

Pretty easy class all in all. His lectures are long and uneventful so if you are good a teaching yourself, you do not really need to go. All the notes are online and he also post very helpful practice test online as well. Homework is easy and he gives out extra points frequently.

His class is not bad, if you go to class and keep up with your homework you'll do fine. He can be kind of rude and talk to his students like they're five. Over all, he's a good teacher and is always there to help whenever you need it and is very clear about that. His tests aren't awful, compared to other professors but you definitely need to study

chem is not an easy class at all but he definitely makes it better! explains the notes well and thoroughly. homework is hard but its unlimited attempts so you can make 100 on each one. tests aren't that bad if you study & do the practice exams. best chem teacher in my opinion. boring class but you have to go & take notes, study a lot, & do the work

Professor Narramore teaches from the powerpoint and posts them online. Homework is online and fairly easy, and you get unlimited attempts. His tests are pretty easy. He posts a practice exam, and a lot of it is on the test(sometimes reworded). His class can be boring, but not always. Sometimes he makes jokes in class.

This class is not very hard, but Narramore does not teach well. If you don't go to class but you read the textbook, you'll be fine because he literally just has a powerpoint straight from the textbook and pretty much just reads the screen. The tests are not too hard, but I highly recommend reading the text so you know what's going on.

I hated this class. I hate chemistry too so he only made it worse. My class was huge so it was hard to really learn anything. He is super boring and just reads over the power points. If you aren't good at Chem then this is NOT the teacher for you.

Pretty straightforward for the most part. Posts the powerpoints on BB but takes attendance every class. He says to study the practice exams (exams from the previous semester) & then the tests have either few or none from that practice exam. SI sessions help if you're willing to do them. But if you pay attention in class & do the hw you'll be fine.
