Comment:

Easily the worst professor I've ever had. Your grade is only based off two exams of which his grading is not consistent at all from person to person, question to question. Partial credit doesn't exist. He doesn't curve grades. Some lectures he will stumble over doing calculations by hand for far too long, wasting your time. Avoid at all costs.

I took his class and I got B+. At first I was clueless but I figured out that his class was super easy A class. If you are the one who likes to save time. Go to classes right before the exam. He throws every exam questions on the board that's gonna be 99% similar to the actual exam. If you memorize those, it's an easy A.

He is awful , whatever you do not (and I mean this without any disrespect) take his classes. He does not explain anything, no practical examples it is all theory for him until it comes to the test, be prepared to watch youtube videos or read the textbook.

If you like hearing the word "so" a lot than take his classes. He seems like he has no idea how to teach, freezes up, doesn't finish problems, and answers questions with another question.

There are 2 exams in this course. No homework or any quiz is not mandatory. This is not because he is a nice professor, but because he is lazy. He won't give you any help either you ask question in class or in office hours. His lectures only contain meaningless nonsense but never touch the key point, I think it is because of his professional issue

He is typical Asian professor who teach with boring tone. However, he doesn't take any attendance and you don't have to do the Homework. Many students were skipping classes because of this, but he gives out a lot of hints and those questions comes out during the test. Plus, his exams aren't hard if you do all your homework. It's really fair game.

I would pick him for every math class in the future if I could. I don't really enjoy math, but this class is no problem for me. I have no problem with his accent at all and if you pay attention there is no reason why you shouldnt get an A, seriously.

At first this class was not for me but over time I decided to go to office hours. He's really helpful I don't think he is the worst professor ever. I personally would take his class again. I watched videos online and went to office hours right before the test and still received an A. Its not that hard to obtain . Take him :)

This guy walks into the room, writes on the board and mumbles at it. Can't hear him and even if you can, you will not understand him. He's rude to all students if they ask questions. Very condescending because after all he does teach some of the hardest courses at UB. His tests are 3 questions and not what we learned in class. Don't take this class

He doesn't teach at all in his lectures. He really just lectures and rattles off facts and formulas. I found that youtube lectures and the TA were good substitutes for lecture. The 3 exams, however, were very easy and straightforward.

Xia is one of the worst professors I've ever had. There are 2 test and 1 final, 100 points each and 200 points respectively, and they are incredibly long and difficult. He does not attend his office hours and will not help you individually at all. I would recommend taking a different teacher.

This professor isn't the best math professor I have taken, but if you put the time in, you should be able to pass his class. He has a preset curve, consisting of only 3 tests. The tests cover a lot of material. I recommend you read the chapter with each section, and pay attention to what he says during review. Calculator and cheat sheet are allowed

Jingbo is obsessed with potato, he spends at least 2-3 lectures describing how a potato represents some aspect of volume. He is a smart man, that is clear, he uses no notes or anything like that. HOWEVER, do not take him if you want to pass, he is not an easy teacher, you will not pass go, you will not get an A, and your dreams will be crushed,

Very smart man, but is not good at teaching. Three tests make up your grade and that it. There are no quizzes and the homework is really hard. Tests aren't as bad because you get a cheat sheet and they're simpler questions. I'd try to get one of the better teachers if you can, but you can definitely still pass with Xia.

He knows math no doubt, but he cannot teach at all. Many students struggled throughout the course because he teaches the material poorly. Only the ones that know how to self-teach themselves math through the textbook do well. He never responds to emails when needed. No homework at all to support your grade, just 3 exams. Highly do not recommend.
