Loved her she is the best. She gives good feedback on your paper. Also she is willing to help when you need the help. Works on research paper throughout the semester; meets with you individually to make sure your okay on the paper. Gives great ideas how to write the paper. Two in class essays, a paper and a presentation and that's the end of class

If you want an easy A/B, this is a decent course. However, this is my first and last time taking a course with Fanos. One, she doesn't teach anything for this course. Two, she makes you feel horrible about the work that you present to her. I'm grateful that this class only meets on Fridays. She breaks hearts.

I LOVE HER CLASS, THE EASIEST CLASS EVER! Nice to have her class at the last semester before graduating. Just please get into a good group from the beginning, when you get into group. Also, you need to show up to class to get extra credit. Please take this class, so easy!

THE BEST PSYC100W teacher at sjsu. Unlike all the rest, she doesn't drown you in essays and assigns only ONE 10 page paper (70% of your grade) that you work on all throughout the semester. She gives you feedback/credit as you go along and turn in parts of your paper, so if you do everything she tells you, you're almost guaranteed an A.

I would definitely recommend taking her because it is the easiest class I ever took in my life. Just fix and do what she says and you will pass the class for an A. Also, she just gives you full points for all the assignments and powerpoint, if you do it. Also, attendance doesn't matter, except when you have to show your work to her.

Had her class once a week from 4:30-7:15 pm and she usually ended it early. Class is boring and pointless. She is pretty unclear about what she wants. 2 Papers, 2 in-class writing assignment, and one presentation. She was nice when you talked to her one-on-one but some days in class she was in a horrible mood. Doesn't like when people come in late.

Extremely fortunate to have meet Dr. Fanos. She is such an amazing professor, she teaches with a passion, which makes her courses (100W & 190) interesting. Very helpful & has a great sense of humor. Overall, her lectures, assignments, & exams are straightforward. Listen to her suggestions & you will not struggle. Had a great & informative semester!

An amazing professor. Very friendly, helpful, & has a great sense of humor. She teaches with a passion & that's makes the class interesting. I advice you not to be on your phone throughout her lectures, very disrespectful. Had a great & informative semester, so I highly recommend Dr. Fanos!!

One of the BEST professors SJSU has! She is helpful, passionate about her classes, and most importantly, she teaches vital skills that will help her students in every aspect of their education and beyond. I've had her for both 100W and 190, and those were the best academic choices I've made. Take her class, put in REAL effort, and you'll see.

She is very easy going. Her lectures were clear and engaging. This is a seminar so the majority of classes are group presentations. There is one 3 pg lit. review and a short MC final. Overall, I learned a lot about PSTD and child trauma. I highly recommend her.

She's super helpful and pays attention to whether the class needs more time to finish the assignments or not. She is really nice and you will learn a lot. I've heard 100W horror stories but she is straight forward and helps you every step of the way. I would take her again and reccomend her to anyone

Straight forward professor who really cuts out the bs unlike a lot of 100W teachers. I learned a lot from her class and feel more confident in writing papers in APA format. It's easy in the sense that she doesn't require you to do busy work, just the stuff you need to know. My final paper took a lot of time and effort but overall a good professor.

I enjoyed my experience in 100W with Fanos. She might not be the most exciting professor, but she's sweet and helpful. She has a few quirky qualities but overall i liked her. Go to class - keep up on the few assignments and it's and easy A.

super chill. if u want to have a straight forward format to write ur 100W paper take this class. You wont learn much, but she will help u step by step and take the time to let u know what u need to do to get a good grade on ur final essay. All other course work is easy. I agree with those who said that the course is what you make of it. She is unique in her teaching style because she wants her students to apply material to their lives... She is approachable and brilliant. Don't be a lazy, arrogant brat (like so many students...ugh) and you can really gain a lot from her courses.

Okay... I like that she used a lot of feedback from the class to direct the lectures. She is responsive to student needs and comments. Her expectations are clearly laid out. She was always present during office hours and very helpful, very approachable. Show up, take notes, do the reading, and you'll be fine. Ask questions!
