Professor Neary is a great professor. He is very humorous! In this class we went over a lot of poetry (I had him in Intro to Lit. 150 as well) but he is very helpful and makes you think. However, his lectures are straightforward and you are assigned about six two-paged essays in which he likes to be straight to the point. It can be a lot of reading

Dr. Neary is one of the nicest professors I have come across so far at SNC. He goes over stories and poems you read outside of class very in depth and helps in preparing you for his tests, which are all essay but not too bad. He is a very fair grader and an overall nice guy.

Doctor Neary is simply just a great professor. He has a passion for his subject, and he is great at getting his students interested in the material as well. Fairly easy and VERY FAIR! NICE GUY! His tests aren't the easiest, but I managed a B on my first test (didn't knw what to expect) and a perfect score on my second. Final is coming up.
