One of the best teachers I've ever had. Makes you work for a good grade but is very fair. Read the book and go to class if you want to pass. Study hard and take good notes if you want to succeed in this class. He is very educated and experienced in this field so it makes class interesting.

It seems to me that while he might be an excellent professor for a traditional in-class course, he is not good at the online teaching. While the course content was thorough, it was almost always riddled with spelling errors. Additionally, he would give multiple deadlines for the same assignment, and was difficult to keep in contact with.

First few classes I thought he came off to be a Professor I wasn't going to look forward to dealing with, but then got to know his personality and he was fantastic. Just get your assignments in on time, he does give some extra time if needed but you can tell he wants it on time. Funny - would love to take another class taught by him!

Sullivan teaches with a smile everyday, and when the Professor is enthusiastic the class just gets easier. He will help you if you ask, and his class goes at a nice pace. I'm not good with computers, but I got an A in his class, and that's due to him

Definitely a funny professor however his takes points off for every little thing which is just ridiculous! Tons of homework and assignments! A friend took the same class with a different teacher and he had not even half of the work to do what I had. I'm not saying he is a bad teacher but I would not take his class again..

Very direct, if you're wrong he tells you directly but tries to understand why you are wrong to help clarify.

Good guy, but really confusing teacher. Extremely tough grader. Unclear with giving directions, and unclear about deadlines.

This class was a little harder than I anticipated just because there are so many more features in Microsoft programs than you know. Prof. Sullivan was a good teacher; he was a little intimidating but was pretty lenient about handing in late work. A lot of the work was done independently but you could work with the people around you.

This professor is extremely knowledgeable about what he teaches. I can honestly say I wasn't happy taking this class initially, but after taking him, I have learned so much. He is very clear and precise and you will definitely learn in his class. Tests and assignments are reasonable. May seem like a lot of hw at first but you get used it.

He lectures practically the whole class and never gives time in class to do the labs. Labs are given for each section and he takes off points for every little thing. His tests do not go along with his lectures. The work is easy but he makes it harder than it has to be. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

His class is very pointless. His lectures are on useless information. He gives you pointless lab exams to do for each section and then takes points off for every little thing. Not helpful all. The work is easy, he just makes it more work than it has to be. His tests do not go along with his lectures. DO NOT TAKE HIM

Set clear expectations - 2012 sandy put a wrench in the online course but he was extraordinarily accommodating turned in an assignment that was due mid semester VERY late because I had trouble understanding course material but he helped me understand it and he did not deduct points for lateness - ** just keep open communication and give an honest effort!! Great class great online teacher!!!

Helpful, doesnt mind questions, extends dates of projects when necessary, cancelled class twice during the semester, allows class to dismiss early after the completion of class assignment, over all best computer lit. prof. Learned a lot, and information helped in other classes.

I had him for a online class and lets just say it was really a learn on your own, he didn't put much time into the class so you where all on your own. It was a hard class lots of course work and reading. YOu have to work for your grade

very hard...knows his stuff but expects you to know all that he knows..not willing to help ..makes you feel uncomfortable asking for help...he just wants to get in and out probably a poster child for the 10 yeared nightmare....he can make a joke or two in class that's funny that's about all I can say for a positive remark

Comment:
Very hard professor. His grading system is only based on 4 tests, which are hard. He gives extra credit though. I didn't like his method of relying on Keynesian Economics because Keynesian Economics is a failed system. If you are a liberal or lean to the left, you'll fit in his class, if not, don't bother taking this professor.

A very hard teacher. Study many hours and days before the day of the test. He loves Bill Clinton and mentions him frequently throughout the class. I wouldn't recommend him if you are not good at taking tests because that's all you're graded on.
