Comment:

To her credit, she cares, and it's a difficult class. However, she does all sorts of things that made this class way harder than it has to be. We had a different assignment due seemingly every day, even on weekdays we didn't have class. She also grades to take points away, not to give them. Made T/F questions with false sometimes being A?! Why??

Comment:

Professor Hora is an extremely funny and kind teacher that makes a boring subject as bearable as possible. She is extremely clear of what is expected of her students and is great at helping students learn in office hours. The class doesn't have many points, so every little thing counts. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

Comment:

She is the sweetest lady ever. She is very funny and caring about her students. I just haven't done the best in intermediate accounting. It generally isn't that hard of a class for others, but for some reason it just never clicked with me. Hora is a sweet lady and I'm sure if you put some time aside outside of class to study you will be fine.

As long as you do the work and study a little, it's a very manageable class. She tells you exactly what's on the test. There are several mini projectsproblems, and those points do add up, but if you go into office hours she literally hands you the answer key and you can easily get 100% on each assignment.

Overall was a great class. She explains things clearly and tells you exactly what will be on the test. The test aren't that bad, fair if you know the material and majority of the tests are almost the exact problems you do in class. Class isn't mandatory but you have the chance of winning chocolate if you do go.

Hora is such a nice lady and she has some nerdy jokes to make the class laugh. There are Wiley Plus assignments, and individual assignments. The individual assignments can be annoying because she gives them frequently. But if you go to office hours she helps. Tests are challenging but she maps out what she expects of you

If you are the kind of person that expects to learn the majority of material in class, you are outta luck with Hora. Very nice lady, but for some reason her tests are way harder than they should be and your grade will inevitably much lower than you think due to the little ways she takes points away from you. Nice lady, but needs to retire ASAP

Very nice lady. There is a lot of material that she goes through very thoroughly. She holds your hand while doing exercises in class which makes it easier to do problems on your own time. Office hours are very helpful in case you don't understand material. She will practically give you the answers while re-explaining the material.

Really enjoyed Prof. Hora's teaching style. Office hours are very helpful. Exams are challenging. Goes over example problems in class that are very similar to ones on the test.

Dr. Hora is a very nice lady and I liked all her accounting jokes and her enthusiasm in class, but honestly didn't find lectures incredibly helpful. Our class often did poorly on exams, so I'm assuming it was curved pretty hard at the end of the semester.

great teacher, always helpful and very excited about the class. the subject is hard though and the content is very heavy and rigorous. alot of work is needed in this class, but she's every friendly and will help.

She is a great professor. Remember...it is a college level course. It is preparation for the CPA exam and a career in accounting. Read the material before class, take notes (do not talk during class), and do the homework. She tells you exactly what is on the test. She is always available to help if you need it.

Professor Hora is simply a mediocre teacher. I would say that a majority of the class got B's. Homework, group projects, and individual assignments all play a role in your grade. She does give you a break down of what will be on the test, even though she has not covered about a third of it. Best of luck.

Sure she may be nice, but that doesn't make her a good teacher. Coming into this class I had a strong background in Acct. (with the grades to prove it), however I struggled a lot with this class. Poor woman should just entertain herself elsewhere, where teaching isn't involved.

Nice lady who tires to make her class entertaining...but it doesn't work. Exams are tricky. Doesn't offer that much help in class or office hours. Not a very good teacher for explaining things in a way that can be understood to everyone. Plus the class is very boring. My class spent most of their time trying to stay awake.
