Kami is great! She explains the proofs, then gives examples, and thoroughly answers questions. Literally one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Her tests aren't too hard, but I wouldn't say they are easy. They are definitely fair though. There is a slight curve, but I wouldn't count on it for your grade.

Larripa is an awesome teacher. She does teach a bit fast but it's only to get you out of class early. She's always open for questions and her lectures are incredibly organized. Her midterms and final is pretty straightforward too. If you go to class, do the homework, you'll do fine.

so unfair how there's only 1 midterm compared to all the other teachers were there's 2. slow grader as well. takes off points even though you have the right answer and don't show every single step of your work. would not recommend taking her if you haven't already taken calculus before.

Kami is such a wonderful professor. She's there for her students and is willing to help them. However, her class is tough. Her final is worth 50% and consists of five problems divided in two three parts. The midterm is 25% and as is hmwk...atleast for 17. I'm thankful I had her but I do work.

take this class only if you've taken atleast calc AB in high school. she goes too fast, worst of all she only has one midterm with like 5 problems with lots of parts to it (a,b,c,ect.). HW counts as a lot, almost as much as a midterm, do it even though she if she says it's ok that you didn't get to turn it in.

i feel sorry for you if you have math class with her. if you never took it in high school, be prepared to struggle immensely, or even retake the class. homework that is assigned takes up so much time! tests are unfair, your grade rests soley on 20 problems and hwk. get a tutor now!

incredibly unfair in the way that 75 percent of the class rests on 10 problems, that she only tests about 1/10 of the material learned. Exam problems are too confusing and she is not willing to help those who dont understand. Also does not have a good heart as she will turn down students who need a recomendation for financial aid, even if sheonlyoption

She could teach calc to a retarded monkey. She's really funny and teaches with alot of energy. This was the only class that didn't put me to sleep this quarter. I hate math, but got a B+. Everyone is complaining about the midetmer and final, but those percentages are on the syllabus, and she gave us a pretyt fat curve. Wish she taught chem.

like 3/5 of the test of her midterms and final are really easy. just basic stuff. probably like 1/5 of her test are thinking questions. basically problems that have answers that don't just pop out when u see the question. just know how to use ur brian not just knowing calculus. at least this was like this when i took the class.

since ive taken calc before, i didnt take this class seriously until after the midterm. i failed it, but understood everything that was taught. i ended up w/ a C. i don't know what i got on the final b/c she never gave us our score. do hw and pay attention to notes. its unfair how she only has 1 midterm. all other prof. have 2 and drop lower score.

Great class ! My class had some who thought it was "too hard" and who complaned about things like why 2/4 was simplified to 1/2. Get real people!!! This is college! You can make the course hard by trying to memorize rather than understand the material. Don't cheat on the homework cuz you will be nailed on exams. I am continuing her for next quar
