Boring class with a ton of reading. Professor Webber was very reluctant to answer any questions about what material is important or what would be on the final. He provided us with a few sample questions for the final exam, which were not representative of the final. Use external materials to prepare for the final.

This is the best professor I have had at York so far. He is willing to help students in every way he can, and he really makes an effort to engage students. Fair grading, of great assistance. I learned so much with him. He will teach you some good academic skills, and you'll do well if you're willing to make an effort.

Not a bird course. Prof. is good but sometimes it is hard to decipher what is important or not in what he is talking about. Attending tutorial and doing the readings is extremely important to get a good mark. One of the only profs that I actually went to for help and he was very accommodating.

He needs to teach his lectures better. He uses pictures to teach his materials which can be a bit annoying when you are going through his slides and they are all pictures and so you have difficulty making out what picture relates to what. However, he is a nice, funny and overall ok prof.

A funny and charismatic lecturer, a challenging and friendly prof. He has a knack for presenting the material in a way that generates an exciting discussion, and it's always encouraging to see the way he enjoys how we respond. I took this course 6 years ago and it's still one of my all-time faves.

As with his counterpart, he's very unhelpful and a waste of time. This course was silly & both profs share a Christian/German lit Bias. Expect to learn about those ALOT. Mark is boring and tends to drone. Don't take it! Seriously. It looks good but isn't!

In both German and Humanities, he's a prime example of what it means to be an amazing teacher, and cute too!
