Comment:

Dr. Tate is great. She is good teacher who is compassionate, caring, and extremely easy to communicate with. She grades on the level and does not make things too difficult. If there is anything she thinks she can help you with she does. She is one of those teachers that just gets it. She is the perfect combination of beauty and brains. She's hot!

Dr. Tate has never taught in a real classroom. Her ideas seem ok when she is teaching them at Auburn, but try and implement them in a classroom and they will never work. She has no classroom experience to go by. She should NOT be teaching this course. Also, very unprofessional in appearance and attitude.

I think Dr. Tate is a good teacher! I guess I can see where some of these people are coming from, but I'm taking her class now and I feel like I'm getting a lot out of it. She gives GREAT ideas that I'm excited about using in my classroom someday. She also gives really good feedback that really helps you improve your lesson ideas and your teaching.

I took a few courses from Dr. Tate and I do not agree with some of the bad comments here. She is very busy, but very helpful, thorough, prepared, and creative. I learned a lot from every course that I took from her (undergraduate and graduate). I use many of her ideas in my own classroom now....listen to her!!! She knows what shes talking about.

Dr. Tate is the worst professor I've had since being at Auburn. She is very rude to her students and will not help when they need advice or have questions. If you e-mail her about a question she says that it is "unprofessional" of you and that you should already know the answer to your question.

She expects her students to understand everything she says and gets frusterated when we don't. I learned a lot of new ways to teach Language Arts. Get on her good side from the beginning, if not, you'll have a much harder semester.
