I loved this class, it was super easy and simple to follow. Her assignments and tests were great as long as you understand the content. Overall as long as you do the work and make an attempt you should be able to land an Easy A. This class is time consuming but remember your grade is what counts in the end. :)

This was a blended class. We had lectures but all of the assignments were online. The assignments are focused on the video textbook you need. If you don't watch boring videos you won't pass the test. There was a test due every Friday. You could do them anytime, but I waited until last minute. The lectures were nice, but not necessary.

First off, if you don't do the work then you won't get a good grade. The assignment aren't hard just time consuming. The quizzes/tests are easy!! The course is a little hard to navigate but you'll get it. I thought this was my easiest Online College Class ever!

I do not suggest Professor Stroup if you need a good grade. Her class is interesting but she is hardly on time, she is unorganized, many excuses, her tests are difficult and other than the 3-4 exams, we only had 2-3 homework assignments. The grade is mainly pulled from hard tests that you will not do good on if you just follow the study guide.

I took her 3 week online nutrition class. It was one of the best classes I have taken, but it is not an easy A. The info was awesome, but there is a lot of work to be done in a very short amount of time. That is expected when you cram so much info in to 3 weeks. She communicated quickly and was straightforward in her assignments. Take her!

Here's a list of 130+ pathogens. Find their characteristics and diseases associated to them. We won't go over the list, so you better hope what you wrote down is correct. For the Final let's take 75 of the 130+ pathogens and match the diseases. You will not learn much from her, but you will learn about her horses and boyfriend and copper pipes.

She's very unprofessional, she would be late to almost every class (up to 15 mins), she takes us to lab, tells us what to do and then promptly leaves us there by ourselves w/o supervision. She was late to the final causing students not being able to finish. Study guides don't really help, more like a guessing game on what's going to be on the test.

Awesome teacher! Don't go in expecting an easy A. You have to work for it. Attend class, read, and watch the videos; you can't fail. A lot of the girls in class complained about her lack of structure but it was their poor attitudes. DH program is competitive & you're only putting in 50% bc you want a life outside school, DH isn't for you.

She definitely knows the subject and is great at teaching but she is a little unorganized. She never had anything for us to do in lab. A few easy homework assignments but she doesn't tell you when exams are until a week before and her "study guides" don't help. Exams are multiple choice with about 70 questions so that was nice! READ/WATCH units.

I love Professor Stroup. I never took her in person but her online classes were amazing. She makes the projects very straight forward and deadlines are set well ahead of time. I took Nutrition and Biology for Non-Majors with her and loved it! I would definitely take her again.

She was a great person in general, but the class needed desperate tweaking. We had maybe 2 lectures (which were very interesting) the whole semester, and watched videos irrelevant to quiz topics for the remainder. I was really looking forward to this since it has to do with my major. If I wanted to teach myself, I would have taken an online class.

Coming in to this course Robyn told the class how stressed she was because she was given classes at last minute like a week before classes started. Her mind is very jumbled and when and if she does lectures she stays on one powerpoint each class period, literally one slide. 16 quizzes whole semester. Played movies the last like 2 months of class.

Professor Stroup is great! She is more than fair with grading, and answers e-mails quickly. Her class is very organized, the virtual labs are downright fun, and you will definitely finish this class having learned alot! Your critical thinking skills are expected and utilized, and there is no extra credit. You must really apply yourself.

Professor Stroup was... boring. Her lectures were pointless and most days we watched a video. The assignments were easy, 7 quizzes per semester and you had all semester to do them. She was nice but when she did lecture she would be on the same powerpoint page for the whole class period which consisted of one of two small topics.

She is a good biology professor, but i don't think she wants to be teaching a nutrition class. More than a month into school and we are still only on the first chapter. She digresses every single class period, focusing more on biology rather than nutrition, and it is completely irreverent. I am a dietetics major, and this class has been a dissapoi

Professor Stroup sets expectations high. If you aren't ready to apply yourself, don't take this class. There are few deadlines. You have to make your own schedule. Read every word in Bb. (You might feel stupid later if you don't.) She's very blunt. If you want to learn Nutrition, great. If you want to enjoy learning, find another professor.

Great online! She has 2 major due dates throughout the 8 week semester. The first is half way though and you have to have all quizzes and labs done. and same for at the end of the semester. She gives you a quiz over the online Wow Biolabs and a chapter quiz. I googled the answers to all the chapter quizes and did well. I didn't use the book. Easy A

I took Ms. Stroup's 8-week class. She gives you all of your assignments up front and structures the class in a way that it is possible to do. There are 6 assignments only 1 of which takes time to complete. 13 quizzes (15 questions each and only 25 minutes to complete) and a final. All easy enough if you know how to take online quizzes and tests.
