Another NUFS "professor" stealing money from students. She is a total waste of the CSU's money. I feel sorry for future NUFS students. Get out while you can!

Really interesting class despite the PowerPoint Karaoke. Not very clear about what she wants, although she seems to think everything she tells you is crystal clear. There are lots and lots of case studies that take lots and lots of time. You'll be printing up a minor fortune in powerpoint slides and your clinical manual. This class takes time!

She is a horrible teacher! She reads directly from the slides, like at this education level we are unable to read them for ourselves. She is unclear on all of her due dates as well as what she expects to be extra credit or mandatory work. Her tests have nothing to do with her lectures and most people do not do well. Good luck...

she is NOT helpful at all. She is a BIG snob that loves to have a good argument, but always insists she is right!!!She should retire because she is getting old and because she CANT teach. I think everyone would be glad and happier when she is gone.

Powerpoint karaoke: a perfect word to describe her teaching style. If you're in her class, I can guarantee you that you need to learn most of the materials on your own. A horrible teacher who's not even passionate about teaching. I'm not being biased at all.

I just want to know why all Nutrition teachers have to act like they are "all that", just because they have their PhD. She is not a good teacher, like most of the nutrition teachers. They all need counseling.

Totally unorganized and disinterested in the subject. Cares little about her students and does as little work as possible. Not sure why she is a teacher.

Horrible teacher, just reads off the power points, very lazy. She tells you to go over the power points for the exams because she will go over whats on there, but then on the exams the questions she has on them are not what she said about those items, the question can't even be answered with whats on the power point.

She is ridiculously hard. I watched her lectures online, and she was SOOOO annoying drinking coffee in every SINGLE lecture (I hate mouth sounds). Her tests are DIFFICULT, no matter how much I studied the material I could NOT get above a B+ on her tests..They are confusing! Take this at a Junior College in the area, because her class is BULL****!!

She is very straight forward, and if you study her powerpoints, you are bound to get an A. You do not need to read the book...the powerpoints is all you need.

You got a C because you only studied for 10 hours and crammed last minute. You have to keep up and read continuously but there is nothing on that test that isnt from your lecture notes. Book is a waste of time, just know EVERYTHING in your notes. Simple as that.

Comment:
I was intimidated of this class because of what I heard and read before taking it (student comments, friends, and ratemyprofessor). However, just memorize every single thing from the lectures (dont worry about the textbook) and you'll get an A. It does take a lot of time, but hey, it's not a GE class. So just do what I say, and you'll be fine.
