Homework is assigned weekly with two exams (midterm and final), in addition to two quizzes. As long as you read and do additional homework problems, you will be fine! Also, visit the tutor as this will be essential to getting extra practice in to do well on the quizzes and exams.

Comment:

The readings help but only to an extent. The thing that made this class pretty difficult was the way she would word her MCQs on her tests/quizzes. Much of it I felt was just unnecessarily confusing! She picks minuscule things from the readings that turn into ?s. Beware! The math portion, which she mainly focuses on during class is very simple.

If you follow along in class she literally explains all the homework every day and goes over examples, I never read once for the class and got an A.

professor nino got me hooked onto the field of accounting, makes you work hard for your grade but is a fair grader, offers extra credit, explanations are pretty thorough and easy to understand, a nice person and very helpful when you go to her with questions, make sure to read the book and do the practice tests if you wanna do well on the tests

Comment:

From what I have heard, this professor does a better job of teaching than other accounting professors on campus. Nino sometimes makes this class a bit hard to understand. Fortunately some of the concepts covered were not difficult, making it easier on her and the class. Nino is very sweet and fun to talk to but the subject changed things.

Everyone said the class is difficult, but it wasn't too bad. She grades fairly and offers a lot of chances for you to improve your grade.

She is not helpful when you ask a question or need out of class assistance. She will make you feel very stupid and won't admit to her mistakes. She is very dry in class and hard to follow. You need to suck up to her or she will make you look stupid in front of the entire class numerous times. Good luck!

Many people including myself thought she was very unclear while teaching in class. She displayed useless power point images that were copy and pasted directly from the book. She needs to do a step by step analysis. She needs to make herself "available" during her office hours.

Professor Nino loved what she taught. She explained things clearly and made sure that students understood what they learned. She is a fair grader and a nice person.
