Best class. Larry is so nice and chill. He wants you to have a good time and learn the best that you can. Encourages practice, very good guitarist, and doesn't require attendance. One of my favorite classes so far!

Larry is such an amazing teacher. Since attendance is optional, you get as much out of the class as you put in. His white book is such a cool resource--you can teach yourself so much beyond the class lectures. The class was chill, the grading was chill, Larry is the king of chill. I learned so much in such a short period of time though!

Easy peasy and very relaxed. Come, bring a friend, and just have fun. Very relaxed. More like a 1 credit class. You get out of it what you put into it. If you practice, you'll get good. If you don't, you'll still get an A. Recommend if you need 2 extra credit hours.

Such a laid-back teacher. It was really fun to learn guitar from such a chill guy. Doesn't take attendance, so that is nice, but you get out of this class what you put in.

The textbook written by Professor Greene is really useful in learning how to play the guitar. He is such a cool guy, the class is fun to attend, and ultimately it wasn't stressful at all. This class was a refuge from regular student life.

Easy class. Fun teacher. He has a good sense of humor and teaches you basic guitar skills. I didn't actually buy the textbooks. I just shared with other people, and it ended up working out okay. I would recommend maybe at least buying the white book, but we hardly used the red one, so just try and share if you can. Overall, great class!

One of the easiest classes I've taken at BYU. I even skipped class several times and still got an A in the class. The final is only 25 questions and is pretty common sense for the most part, although you must study a little. Don't take the final too lightly because that's your final grade. Only assignments are to go to 3 concerts. Laid back class.

Prof. Greene is great. If you're planning a tough semester, this is a great class to balance. You just have to attend three concerts and then one written test. Super funny and really cares about his students. Fun and well worth taking.

So I took this class because I knew I was going to have a heavy semester, and I wanted an easy A. I went to class at first and learned a ton, but when I needed time for other homework I started skipping allot. I wish I could have spent the time learning more, but I just went to the 3 concerts, studied pretty hard for the final, and got the A easy

Seriously my favorite professor at BYU! He's SO funny I laughed out loud several times each class. I learned SO much and developed a new talent (which the ladies presently love). I was nervous about taking a class that wasn't necessary for my major, but I'd argue that this class was necessary for my SANITY. Seriously, give him a try - he's chill!

I took this class to learn the basics of guitar and got what I wanted. I learned enough about how to play that it is easy for me to pick up new chords and songs with the correct technique. This class was easy and fun, but lectures did get really long. He is a very talented guitarist and funny professor.

I, uh, barely showed up and still got an A. Your success in this class, outside of the grade, depends entirely on how much you practice outside of class. He will tell you what he expects and if you put in the time practicing what he taught you will improve at the guitar very quickly.

Take his class!!! I like guitar but honestly i took this class to raise my GPA and it was the easiest A i have ever had or will ever have at BYU. And on top on that he is an excellent music teacher, if you do what he says you will be better at guitar by the end of the semester. Do the requirements and you'll get an A. Oh and he's HILARIOUS:)

I knew nothing about guitar before I took this class and I am amazed at how much I learned in such a short amount of time, especially in a class so large. On our grade we had to attend three concerts, an at home quizmidterm that was open book and an easy 25 question final that had information just from his book. Take this class from Bro Green!

Larry is a BOSS!! Way good at guitar, makes you feel tiny in comparison with his skills! Solid teacher, only assignments were practicing and attending three concerts before the final. Easy two credits but you actually learn a lot! I've played guitar for 5 years and still learned plenty of new things. Definitely take him!

HE'S SO FUNNY! Cracks jokes all day. And he knows EVERYTHING about guitar. He REALLY knows his stuff. The class is totally chill, though. He's really helpful and personable. I'd played guitar before, so I thought I wouldn't learn much, but I was WRONG. I learned so much!! TAKE IT. :) I LOVE BROTHER GREEN!
