I took my first Devry class in his classroom and it was an okay experience. It seemed at first he knew he was talking about but later in the class I realized he would just go off on random tangents. He's okay, the class was easy but it was intro to Networking...how hard can it be.

Comment:

I really did not enjoy him... likes to hear himself talk too much, goes on a lot of tangents unrelated to class or the material. His lab writeups were awful too; he often had to instruct us how to do the lab because his own writeups were so outdated.

Comment:

One of the best instructors I had at DeVry. His class is easy (30 free questions per test plus all the questions are copy and pasted from his study guild in a random order) but he knows his stuff and definately kept me interested.

I actually enjoyed this professor. The class was very interactive. I liked the labs & thought the teacher was very helpful. Yes the stuff was outdated but the point was to teach elementary level stuff so we could build on it later. Everyone said bad things about him, but I think with the right class he can be a good teacher!

This is one of the best teachers i've had at Devry. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and he is a good teacher to learn from. I would suggest him over any Networking teacher if you have the choice.

This is the poorest teacher DeVry has. He is purely academic and he teaches incorrect data. He has virtually 0 experience in the field since the early 90's. If you are new to IT, and you get him as a prof, you might be fooled into beleiving he knows his stuff. At least getting an A in his class is easy, as long as you memorize his incorrect

I have had Professor Price multiple times, and he is one of my favorite teachers at DeVry. He definitely knows his stuff, and he's very reasonable. His tests are long, but you will be fine if you review them. If you want to learn, I would suggest Price in a heartbeat.

Easy class. He keeps his tests the same 150-160 questions per test. Then he gives 30-40 free answers. If you just review the study guides he gives out before the tests you'll do fine.

Probably the hardest professor so far. The labs are pointless and you don't really learn too much from them. He gives a 3000 word research paper (some advice get started early). His tests are usually 150 questions, and gives between 30-40 free answers during the tests. He definitely knows his stuff, but is not very good on explaining it.

This professor knows his stuff. I took a networking class from him. He was knowledgable with all of the material that he taught. One time, I had another instructor stuck on how to hook our equipment up for a "network type" lab and Price fixed in 5 minutes what the other professor had toiled with for half an hour. Price knows Networking!
