Comment:

This is a great teacher. She really cares about the success of her students. Class direction is very clear. She allows you to work ahead. This is the first online class I have taken and she made it easy. A lot of reading and class participation, but easy and fare grader. She will be retiring soon so take her while you can. Trust me, take her!

Victoria is great. I strongly suggest taking her online class. She really cares about her student's success. I really liked her quick response to email questions. I took her Eng 1A class and I reget that she is not teaching Eng 4 or 7 in Fall. Best advie: Take Sansome's class!

Comment:

Taking an online class is not easy, but Prof. Sansome tried to make it as easy as possible. Whenever I had a question, she responded immediately. The readings were interesing, and she continually allowed us to rewrite papers for a higher grade. I highly recommend her!

So, she was very nice. The requirements were the same as the post before me, and there was no communication or clarification at any point during the semester. She would post random assignments and projects, and 20 of us would email each other-all confused as to what was going on. Easy grader though, and a stone cold fox! Only 2 visits, but worth it

Doesn't work with you at all, directions were at times unclear. It was an online class therefore communication is key, though she failed to respond to many emails which impacted my grade. A lot of work, long discussion posts due every week, in class essay on the first meeting and the final, a 8-10pg paper, and 3-4 essays in between, DONT TAKE HER!

I do not know who wrote the previous post, but Victoria is quite helpful. How can you tell if her instructions are correct or not if you do not know how to write? It is hard to read post by people who do not do their work and blame it on the professor. I learned so much from Victoria and would take her again!

I was skeptical on taking an English class online. I knew it was going to kick my ___. But Ms. Sansome is an extremely intelligent woman who expects the best from her students and I like that challenge. Passing her class should be reward enough because I fell like I am a better writer and critical thinker due to her class. She rocks!

I don't know what the person down there is talking about but she also teaches at a university. She is a great teacher; by far one of the most honest fair teachers I've ever had. Very passionate about teaching. Great respect. If you take her make sure you understand her syllabus and all the instructions of her assignments. She is true to her word.

The previous post was probably from one of the people who did not do their work and tried to slack off in the class. I NEVER heard her say anything about UC students! You made this up. You probably got a bad grade because you earned it and now hate the Prof. Sansome. try being honest!

Fire her immediately. She compares city students to UC students. I don?t know if she was turned down for a university position and had to settle for community college; whatever the reason she lets it be known that we don?t stand a chance on a UC campus. If this is your way of motivation Ms. Sansome it?s not good. I?m reporting her to the dean.

I was nervous about taking another online class due to a bad experience before. Professor Sansome made this class wonderful. Her readings and topic assignments were worthwhile. She give opportunities to rewrite papers so you can do better. She shares her love of literature. I kept the text for this class so I can continue reading. Take her!

I don't know who wrote the posts about the online class being disasterous but that is not true. The class was organized and the assignment links were always opened when they were suppose to be. This class was great. Quit complaining. Victoria is great and made this class interesting. I am not a literature person, but I loved this class!!!

I have taken a number of online classes, and there are few that I have enjoyed as much as Prof. Sansome's class. She loves literature and she picks readings that are interesting. She offers assignments that help improve our skills. I highly recommend any class she teaches if you want to learn because she will prepare you to write.

I was reading the previous post, and I realize that whoever wrote that probably thought they could pass without being able to write. I was in the same class, and Victoria never yelled at us. Her course site was easy to follow, the readings were great, and she shared her passion for literature with us. Victoria is the best!

I am taking eng4 Online with her and its a disaster. She assigns homework but forgets to open the link to submit the assignment. Upon asking, she would blame the student and won't give another chance. I have taken alot of online classes and this is the worst one so far. She assigns loads of homework and expects alot of participation.
